Raynette K. Weiss Ministries run by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss invite you to this Lesson about the biblical meaning of Christmas lights. Tuesday, December 20, 2022.

Light at christmas time is to remind us that Jesus is the light in your life. He is the only way to Your Heavenly Father. Christmas lights are also used by Our Heavenly Father as a way to bring people together and get thier attention; and it also draws people closer to him. It is something that is very comforting to the inner being, and very pleasing to the body. Therefore light is very important for people. Remember christmas time is Jesus’s birthday, and light is a big part of Jesus and Our Heavenly Father. It is used to draw in energy, and happiness and draw people to them. Christmas lights also help with sharing the good news of Our Heavenly Father.

John 1: 4-5 1:4 In him was life, and that life was the light of all mankind.

1:5 The light shines in the darkness, and the darkness has not overcome it.

John 8:12 When Jesus spoke again to the people, he said, I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will never walk in darkness, but will have the light of life.

Colossians 1:13 For he has rescued us from the dominion of darkness and brought us into the kingdom of the Son he loves.

Luke 1:79 to shine on those living in darkness and in the shadow of death, to guide our feet into the path of peace.

Matthew 5:16In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

Ephisians 5:8 For you were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Live as children of light

Philippians 2:14-15;For he himself is our peace, who has made the two groups one and has destroyed the barrier, the dividing wall of hostility,

by setting aside in his flesh the law with its commands and regulations. His purpose was to create in himself one new humanity out of the two, thus making peace.

Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father we thank you for light; and how you use it in so many ways, and that it is so soothing to the human soul. We thank you for that. We pray all that read the lesson understand it. We also pray that the Holy Spirit help them understand. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

those who wish to become a child of our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.

Heavenly Father: I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
