Raynette K. Weiss Ministries run by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss invite you to this Lesson about the biblical meaning of wreaths and evergreen trees. Thursday, December 22, 2022.

The wreath in the bible means unity and perfection; it also has the shape of an emblem that resembles the sun. It later on was a reminder of Jesus’s suffering and victory. For Christians, the evergreen tree symbolizes the beauty of the world Jesus created. And it also is a reminder the tree of Calvary upon which he died for us. Pine cones in the bible mean enlightenment because they have sensitivity to the light. They are like flowers in some way as well. Please remember that Christmas is the birthday of our lord and savior Jesus Christ.

Isaiah 40:26 Lift up your eyes and look to the heavens: Who created all these? He who brings out the starry host one by one and calls forth each of them by name. Because of his great power and mighty strength, not one of them is missing.

Hosea 14:8 Ephraim, what more have I to do with idols? I will answer him and care for him. I am like a flourishing juniper; your fruitfulness comes from me.

1 kings 7:17 A network of interwoven chains adorned the capitals on top of the pillars, seven for each capital.

Revelation 4:4 Surrounding the throne were twenty-four other thrones, and seated on them were twenty-four elders. They were dressed in white and had crowns of gold on their heads.

Closing prayer; Heavenly Father we thank you for your word. Thank you for wreaths and evergreens. We pray all that read this lesson understand the true meaning of christmas. We also pray that this holiday season people will draw closer to you and become a child of yours. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.

those who wish to be a child of our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.

Heavenly Father: I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.” Please leave a message if no one can answer the phone. We will get back to you if you leave a message as soon as possible. Everyone is important to us. We are 24 hour service but have a small staff, and therefore we might be on the other line, or dealing with someone else.
