Raynette K. Weiss Ministries run by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss invite you to this lesson on spiritual wisdom Monday, September 12, 2022.

Spiritual wisdom is what we are talking about today. Spiritual wisdom cannot be gotten, except from Your Heavenly Father. Your Heavenly Father has embedded it in us, but we have to find it. He will only unlock it if you are a child of his and he feels you can handle it. This also can only be gotten if you have a personal relationship with him. Ask him what he wants you to do and he will tell you, and ask for his wisdom in things. You must get into the bible, especially the book of proverbs, that will tell you about wisdom. Wisdom is a very good thing and it can keep you safe, but if you do not use it right you can end up in danger. Please learn about it very well before using it.

What is Spiritual wisdom:To be able to know the “right” decision to make in a situation, or how to approach someone with the right words that won’t leave them angry or offended.

Here is a list of ways you can obtain wisdom:

  • Worldly Knowledge and information, not as important to Our Heavenly Father.
  • Godly wisdom Knowledge within the spirit. Our Heavenly Father will give you wisdom on what to do in certain circumstances.
  • Seeking it. Going to Our Heavenly Father on advice on what to do.
  • Meditating on God’s Word. Really concentrating on what you read and getting it into your spirit.
  • Obeying scriptural principles. Obeying all of Our Heavenly Father’s rules in the bible. Plus abiding by the 10 commandments.
  • Praying for it. Talking to Your Heavenly Father about a certain situation and he will help you on what to do in certain ways.
  • Observing how God works in the world. Looking at the blessings our Heavenly Father gives people, seeing how other christian people act or help other people.
  • Heeding godly counsel. Listening to Our Heavenly Father’s advice and taking it very seriously.
  • Associating with the wise.  Hang around people that Our Heavenly Father blesses you to do so, that have his wisdom and can pass it to you. But observe these people and make sure they are really like this. Ask Our Heavenly Father who you should hang around with.

1 Corinthians 1:24 But to those called by God to salvation, both Jews and Gentiles, Christ is the power of God and the wisdom of God.”

Proverbs 3:15 Wisdom is more precious than rubies; nothing you desire can compare with her.”

Proverbs 4:6 Don’t turn your back on wisdom, for she will protect you. Love her, and she will guard you.

James 1:5 If you need wisdom, ask our generous God, and he will give it to you. He will not rebuke you for asking.”

Luke 2:52 Jesus grew in wisdom and in stature and in favor with God and all the people.

Ephisisans 1:16-17  I have not stopped thanking God for you. I pray for you constantly, asking God, the glorious Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, to give you spiritual wisdom and insight so that you might grow in your knowledge of God.

Proverbs 9:11-12 “Wisdom will multiply your days and add years to your life. If you become wise, you will be the one to benefit. If you score wisdom, you will be the one to suffer.”

Closing prayer; Heavenly Father we pray that everyone reads this lesson carefully and understands it. We also pray that Jesus and the Holy Spirit help them understand it. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

those who wish to become a child of our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.

Heavenly Father: I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
