The Bible – Proverbs 2

1

My son, if thou wilt receive my words, and hide my commandments with thee;

2

So that thou incline thine ear unto wisdom, and apply thine heart to understanding;

3

Yea, if thou criest after knowledge, and liftest up thy voice for understanding;

4

If thou seekest her as silver, and searchest for her as for hid treasures;

5

Then shalt thou understand the fear of the LORD, and find the knowledge of God.

6

For the LORD giveth wisdom: out of his mouth cometh knowledge and understanding.

7

He layeth up sound wisdom for the righteous: he is a buckler to them that walk uprightly.

8

He keepeth the paths of judgment, and preserveth the way of his saints.

9

Then shalt thou understand righteousness, and judgment, and equity; yea, every good path.

10

When wisdom entereth into thine heart, and knowledge is pleasant unto thy soul;

11

Discretion shall preserve thee, understanding shall keep thee:

12

To deliver thee from the way of the evil man, from the man that speaketh froward things;

13

Who leave the paths of uprightness, to walk in the ways of darkness;

14

Who rejoice to do evil, and delight in the frowardness of the wicked;

15

Whose ways are crooked, and they froward in their paths:

16

To deliver thee from the strange woman, even from the stranger which flattereth with her words;

17

Which forsaketh the guide of her youth, and forgetteth the covenant of her God.

18

For her house inclineth unto death, and her paths unto the dead.

19

None that go unto her return again, neither take they hold of the paths of life.

20

That thou mayest walk in the way of good men, and keep the paths of the righteous.

21

For the upright shall dwell in the land, and the perfect shall remain in it.

22

But the wicked shall be cut off from the earth, and the transgressors shall be rooted out of it.

If you follow the word of Our Heavenly Father and his teachings and receive his knowledge and wisdom with a good spirit, many blessings will come to you. He will show you the right path and keep you on it. Always avoid people that follow things that are evil. If you let Our Heavenly Father lead your life he can get anything out of you that would be evil and not of him.

 You must as a christian learn all about  the deepness of his wisdom. ON the following chapters we will get deep into where you can get a full understanding. Those who are not christian let do not let it scare you, let it help you become. som times you have to experience things before you understand them. This is why walking with your heavenly father is important, it is part of this also.

Closing Prayer: All wise Heavenly Father, in Jesus’ Name, we come to You in light of Jesus dying on the cross and His resurrection. I acknowledge our need for complete dependence on You. You are the source of all that is good, true, and right. All wisdom and understanding comes from You as well. We ask that You lead us in Your Word to where wisdom is found for daily direction for living and comfort. Give us a heart and a desire for the spiritual milk of Your Word to mature in Godliness. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

those who wish to become a child of our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.

Heavenly Father: I recognize that I have not lived my life for You up until now. I have been living for myself and that is wrong. I need You in my life; I want You in my life. I acknowledge the completed work of Your Son Jesus Christ in giving His life for me on the cross at Calvary, and I long to receive the forgiveness you have made freely available to me through this sacrifice. Come into my life now, Lord. Take up residence in my heart and be my king, my Lord, and my Savior. From this day forward, I will no longer be controlled by sin, or the desire to please myself, but I will follow You all the days of my life. Those days are in Your hands. I ask this in Jesus’ precious and holy name. Amen.”
