Summary; Joshua helps the people of Israel feel right at home in the lands. In Joshua’s story Our Heavenly Father’s faithfulness to his promises to Abraham show very often. Listening and keeping commands is discussed a lot in this chapter. Many of the enemies in this story are defeated with the help of Our Heavenly Father. He chose to know and love God and to pass down his faith to his children. We always seem to remember how Our Heavenly Father cares for us, but forget that it is important to also listen and obey.
Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father, we thank you for your word and the story of Joshua and teaching about obeying your commands. We also pray that you would give us strength in our weakness, that you would give us joy in our suffering. We pray that the Holy Spirit will help those who do not understand this lesson to understand and learn from it. In Jesus name we pray. Amen.
Prayer of Salvation: Which is how you ask to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. Lord Jesus, I confess my sins and ask for your forgiveness. Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior. Take complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
