Opening Hymn: Deciples by Tame Impala:
[Verse 1]
‘Cause I was nervous, sure
But it’s something I’m used to
And I could tell by your face
No one’s ever been rude to you
When I could tell you things
That I can’t say to anyone
And you came ’round today
But you didn’t stay very long
[Bridge]
Now it’s like the world owes you
Walking around like everybody should know you
I wanna be like we used to
But now you’re worried whose audience will lose you
[Verse 2]
And I had no idea
What that feeling could do to you
And I could tell you’ve changed
By the people around you
I used to take the long way
Just so I could walk past your door
I used to wait outside
But I guess I won’t anymore
[Outro]
There’s so much I wanna tell you
So much I wanna tell you

When Jesus called Matthew to follow him, Matthew was a tax collector. This was a frowned upon profession by most Jews at the time, not because of the idea of taxes but because tax collectors worked for the Roman Empire, which had put extensive pressure on the Jewish people. After Matthew joined Jesus, his ministry was spent spreading Jesus’ teachings throughout the Middle East, even as far into Africa as Ethiopia.
Matthias the only disciple who wasn’t personally called by Jesus. Instead, the other disciples chose him to replace Judas Iscariot, who betrayed Jesus and died shortly after Jesus was crucified. Since Matthias was with Jesus from the beginning, and clearly was well-known among the disciples (the 120 or so believers mentioned in Acts 1:15 nominated him, after all), this has led some to speculate that Matthias must’ve been among the 70 (or 72) apostles Jesus sent out in Luke 10.
Philip had a warm heart and a pessimistic mind, and very much desired to do for others but often couldn’t see how they could be done. He was hanged, and when he was dying, he requested his body be wrapped in papyrus, not in linen as Jesus was. Philip was from Bethesda, just as Peter and Andrew were. He becomes a living personality in the Gospel of John. He was the first man that Jesus told to follow him, and he believed that He was the one prophets described by Moses. Bartholomew also known as Nathaniel and was the son of Talmai who lived in Cana in Galilee, and whose daughter was the wife of David. He was from a royal family as his father was the king of Philip and Nathanael, on the other hand, are listed jointly in John’s tale. Following the Ascension, Bartholomew traveled on a missionary expedition to India, according to Eusebius of Caesarea’s Ecclesiastical History where he left behind a copy of Matthew’s Gospel. We know almost nothing about Simon the Zealot. Even his moniker, “the Zealot” is ambiguous enough that we can’t be sure what it means—though there are several strong possibilities. He may have belonged to a Jewish sect known as the Zealots, who were bent on revolution and looking for a Messiah to violently overthrow Rome. Or he may have simply been zealous for the Mosaic Law. Or even zealous for Jesus and his teachings.Little regarding the life of of Simon the Zealot is known outside of what is recorded in the Bible. Thomas Didymus lived in Galilee and was a pessimistic and bewildered man, yet one known for his courage. He could not believe until he had seen, but during the resurrection of Jesus, his doubts turned to faith after seeing the risen Christ.Thomas usually was nicknamed “Doubting Thomas,” Thomas was also called Didymus, meaning The Twin (although a twin brother or sister is never mentioned in the Bible.)He was an outspoken skeptic to the point of being known as a pessimist.
No details are given about Thomas in the first three Gospels other than the mention of his name.
Now realize, these men were very important to Our Heavenly Father and Jesus because they took the word everywhere they went and it was correct. We should all be thankful for the word they left us today. We should think about it as we are teaching things you might want to get into your bibles. If you do not have bibles read the lessons on site. Please get into the bible. It is good for your should and it will h help your afterlife. fix you make a sin and have not asked for forgiveness now is the time to do this. To strengthen your faith it is helpful to pray the prayer of Salvation which we will list at the bottom.

Closing Hymn: We pray thee Heavenly Father by V.S.S Coles
1 We pray thee, heavenly Father,to hear us in thy love, and pour upon thy childrenthe unction from above;that so in love abiding, from all defilement free,we may in pureness offerour Eucharist to thee.
2 Be thou our guide and helper,O Jesus Christ, we pray;so may we well approach thee,if thou wilt be the Way:thou, very Truth, hast promisedto help us in our strife, food of the weary pilgrim, eternal source of Life.
3 And thou, creator Spirit, look on us, we are thine;renew in us thy graces, upon our darkness shine;that, with thy benedictionupon our souls outpoured,we may receive in gladnessthe body of the Lord.
4 O Trinity of Persons,O Unity most high,on thee alone relyingthy servants would draw nigh:unworthy in our weakness,on thee our hope is stayed, and blessed by thy forgivenesswe will not be afraid.

Closing prayer: Heavenly Father we pray that the people that are reading this understand that the wisdom through the bible can help in today’s life, and that they should compare today with back then. Then they can feel what you feel. Everything back then is appropriate for today. We pray that they begin to understand this and that more people will become children of yours. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For those who wish to become a child of Our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.

Dear Heavenly Father, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
