Psalm 8:3 When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, The moon and the stars, which You have ordained;

Sermon for Sunday August 7, 2022

This past week we learned  how important it is to pray. Let me reiterate how important that its. Praying is important because it is your way to communicate to your Heavenly Father and for him to know what you want. Even if he does not talk to you due to your level with him, he hears you and will answer you in other ways. One example of this, if you are reading something and it gets your attention fast and it is something you have been praying about, that is an answer. Now, that is how important praying is, your Heavenly Father does control the world right now. Once he comes back he will take all of his people, except for a few, who will be here to help clean up. After that the adversary will be controlling the world of anyone left behind, and they will be judged by him again. They will be with him for eternal life, which also means no water, darkness, and a lot of pain. If we were you, we would pray for forgiveness and repent. Clean up your life, and walk with Jesus like we went over in other lessons. He will give you a chance to clean up from then on out, so you may have a chance to make it to heaven. Rather than the adversary. One summer Your Heavenly Father will come back and get us; those that are his children. We will then have a fun glorious time with him in Heaven. You may be surprised how many people will make it to heaven on judgment day, according to the bible which is his word.

Then we discussed about animals. Our Heavenly Father told us to treat animals nicely and not abuse them. We suggest anyone that treats an animal with abuse, pray and ask for forgiveness and mean it, and stop the actions that you are doing. Remember, animals are Our Heavenly Father’s creation too just like we are. We are animals, but a higher form. We do not want to be treated mean, so why would the other animals want that. Suggest we all stop that, whoever is doing that and ask for forgiveness.

One of Our Heavenly Father’s big creations is the sun; and one area of the solar system that he pays close attention to. The sun is the light of day, and a source of heat, and the light is used by your Lord and savior to get to Our Heavenly Father. So, the sun is very important to Our Heavenly Father because it is the light on earth, and he wishes for his children to be in light, not the dark.

The moon in the Bible would be a symbol for the true people of God. The phases of the moon symbolize immortality and eternity with Our Heavenly Father in Heaven.

There are another kind of stars on Earth—spiritual stars. These are the virtuous souls close to God who spread His kindly light in the world. Just as the stars in the sky appear at night, the spiritual stars lend their light to others when the latter are enveloped in the darkness of sorrow and suffering.

Stars have been symbolic of divine guidance and protection. The star of Bethlehem representing the guidance of god whilst the star of David is a powerful protection symbol.

We talked about how important the moon and stars are. If you do not understand it, please go back to the lesson on Friday and go over about the moon and stars. It will help you understand your Heavenly Father more and what things mean. If you do not understand what something means you cannot understand him. If you still have questions after you read the lesson. Contact Rev. Raynette Weiss in email, or call, or leave a comment in the page. No one will see that other than Raynette or Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss. Feel free to call on the phone and either of us will pick up. Those are the places you can go without anyone seeing what you are asking.

Closing Hymn; Thank you Lord for showing us the way by The Sharp Family;

Here we are tying up the loose ends and

Saying last goodbyes to all our friends.

Here we are making all the right moves and

Moving on to new things, starting over again.

Where we are going to it’s still hard to say,

But I know we’ll come back someday.

Holding on to all the things you’ve taught us and

Thanking you for showing us the way.

There we were seeing things the first time,

Sorting out the reasons from the rhyme.

There you were always there to guide us,

Mapping out the mountains that we had to climb,

You took us in your hands and shaped us like clay,

and helped prepare us for this day,

See us now we’re shining in your love light, and

Thanking you for showing us the way.

You’ve watched us all grow older,

You helped us look ahead,

You’ll be there over my shoulder in my times of need,

I’ll hear the words that you said, The words that you said.

Closing prayer; Heavenly Father we pray that everyone that reads this understands what you are trying to tell them through us. Obviously these are important points that you are bringing out, because you are having us bring them out. We are your vessels in this case. We thank you for giving us the opportunity to serve you. Everything done in this ministry is done in your glory. We pray that Jesus, and The Holy Spirit will help them understand. We pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

For those who wish to become a child of Our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.

Dear Heavenly Father, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

Please leave a message if no one can answer the phone. We will get back to you if you leave a message as soon as possible. Everyone is important to us. We are 24 hour service but have a small staff, and therefore we might be on the other line, or dealing with someone else.
