Sermon: Joshua and the Israelites

Joshua was told by Our Heavenly Father that there was still a lot of land that needed to be given as a gift to Israel. are in these gifts. The levites would share the gifts of food they had that Our Heavenly Father gave them. There were nine groups given this land gift as commanded by Our Heavenly Father. Most of the gift was from east of the Jordan river. You should always spend time with Our Heavenly Father, and walk and talk with him like we have said in previous lessons. If you are a child of Our Heavenly Father and you are not sure what to do at work or somewhere, ask him and he will let you know what to do. Many of the other people that lived in the land of Judah at the time were there when the book of Joshua was written.They had a mighty wide border, which began with the border of Edom in the south, going down to the salt sea.It even stretched to the river of Egypt. It encompassed Jerusalem and the city of Arba, the father of Anak, which was later changed to Hebron. Joseph’s allotment went up to the hill of the region called Bethel, and through the desert land. This area crossed the land territory which was inhabited by the Arkites, which was in Ataroth. Manasseh and Ephraim had their lands, but they were unable to fully drive out the inhabitants of every city.
