Raynette K. Weiss Ministries run by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss invite you to this special fifth lesson on how to get close to your Heavenly Father. The basic methods of praying. Saturday, July 9, 2022.

Learn How to Pray in These 4 Easy Steps

  • Prayer Has Four Simple Steps.
  • Step 1: Address Heavenly Father.
  • Step 2: Thank Heavenly Father.
  • Step 3: Ask Heavenly Father.
  • Step 4: Close in the Name of Jesus Christ.
  • Praying in a Group.
  • Pray Always, With Sincerity and With Faith in Christ.
  • Prayers Will Always Be Answered.

Ensure that your Christian prayer is complete by remembering ACTS — not the book of the Bible, but the acronym. The ACTS method of Christian prayer goes like this:

  • Adoration: Give God praise and honor for who he is as Lord over all.
  • Confession: Honestly deal with the sin in your prayer life.
  • Thanksgiving: Verbalize what you’re grateful for in your life and in the world around you.
  • Supplication: Pray for the needs of others and yourself.

Hebrews 4:16 Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need.

1 Thessalonians 5:16–18 Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.

1 John 5:14–15 And this is the confidence that we have toward him, that if we ask anything according to his will he hears us. And if we know that he hears us in whatever we ask, we know that we have the requests that we have asked of him.

Closing prayer; Heavenly Father, our hearts are filled with chaos and confusion. We feel as if we are drowning in our circumstances and our hearts are filled with fear and confusion. We really need the strength and peace that only You can give. Right now, we choose to rest in You. In Jesus’ Name, we pray, Amen.

For those who wish to become a child of Our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.

Dear Heavenly Father, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”

Please leave a message if no one can answer the phone. We will get back to you if you leave a message as soon as possible. Everyone is important to us. We are 24 hour service but have a small staff, and therefore we might be on the other line, or dealing with someone else.
