Ecclesiastes 1:5 – The sun also ariseth, and the sun goeth down, and hasteth to his place where he arose.
Revelation 22:5 – And there shall be no night there; and they need no candle, neither light of the sun; for the Lord God giveth them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
Genesis 1:16 – And God made two great lights; the greater light to rule the day, and the lesser light to rule the night: he made the stars also.
Psalms 113:3 – From the rising of the sun unto the going down of the same the LORD’S name is to be praised.
Isaiah 13:10 – For the stars of heaven and the constellations thereof shall not give their light: the sun shall be darkened in his going forth, and the moon shall not cause her light to shine.
One of Our Heavenly Father’s big creations is the sun; and one area of the solar system that he pays close attention to. The sun is the light of day, and a source of heat, and the light is used by your Lord and savior to get to Our Heavenly Father. So, the sun is very important to Our Heavenly Father because it is the light on earth, and he wishes for his children to be in light, not the dark.
The sun shall be no more your light by day, nor for brightness shall the moon give you light; but the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your God will be your glory. Your sun shall no more go down, nor your moon withdraw itself; for the Lord will be your everlasting light, and your days of mourning shall be ended.
What does under the sun refer to in the Bible? A phrase adapted from the Book of Ecclesiastes; the author complains frequently in the book about the monotony of life. The entire passage reads, “ The thing that hath been, it is that which shall be; and that which is done is that which shall be done: and there is no new thing under the sun.
Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father we thank you for the sun, and all the meanings of it, and what it can do down here on earth, and what it does for you. We thank you for creating the sun, and praise you in the name of your son, our savior, Jesus Christ. Amen.
For those who wish to become a child of Our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.
Dear Heavenly Father, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
