Raynette K. Weiss Ministries Run by Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Assistant Minister Jessie K. Weiss welcomes you to this lesson on baptism Tuesday, April 19, 2022.

Baptism is a symbol of Christ’s burial and resurrection. Our entrance into the water during baptism identifies us with Christ’s death on the cross, His burial in the tomb and His resurrection from the dead.
“Going under the water was a burial of your old life; coming up out of it was a resurrection, God raising you from the dead as he did Christ. When you were stuck in your old sin-dead life, you were incapable of responding to God. God brought you alive – right along with Christ! Think of it! All sins forgiven, the slate wiped clean, that old arrest warrant canceled and nailed to Christ’s cross

Psalm 62:7 In God is my salvation and my glory: the rock of my strength, and my refuge, is in God.

Titus 3:5 Not by works of righteousness which we have done, but according to his mercy he saved us, by the washing of regeneration, and renewing of the Holy Ghost;

Acts 2:41 Then they that gladly received his word were baptized: and the same day there were added unto them about three thousand souls.

John 1:33 And I knew him not: but he that sent me to baptize with water, the same said unto me, Upon whom thou shalt see the Spirit descending, and remaining on him, the same is he which baptizeth with the Holy Ghost.

1 Corinthians 12:13 For by one Spirit are we all baptized into one body, whether we be Jews or Gentiles, whether we be bond or free; and have been all made to drink into one Spirit.

Romans 6:3 Know ye not, that so many of us as were baptized into Jesus Christ were baptized into his death?

Important points about baptism; One, there is a water type of baptism which is just used to show the public that you are a christian. Water does not save you, but it shows the public you accepted Jesus. Now there is another type of baptism that where you ask The Lord to let you be his child and tell him that you believe in his son Jesus and he died on the cross for your sins. You ask The Holy Spirit to come into your heart and guide you or whatever needs to be done in your case. This is spiritual baptism. It is called being born again, and it happens as a child and an adult. It should be done as a young child, and an adult. The water baptism is to show the congregation that you are christian. Back in the day, John the baptist used water baptism to get people ready for Jesus’s coming and gives them the feel for being a child of God before Jesus gets there. One well known Minister said a few days ago, you can baptise yourself in the bathtub, or have someone do it for you, but the most important to heaven is spiritual baptism. I am not against water baptism, but for people that cannot get to church for water baptism, it does not matter, as long as you get a relationship with your heavenly father. That is what really matters. Do not say just because you cannot get to church your are not a child of God, not true. Water just shows the public that you believe in The Lord. Not saying as a child you should not have water baptism, and if you get born again some churches do that. As long as you have Jesus and the Heavenly Father in your heart that is all that matters. They know what you beleive in and what not, they judge you down here, and when they get you up to heaven they will make thier decision, no way out. My suggestion to everyone is become a child of God and get into the bible, for those that do not have a bible, there are 3 years of lessons with the bible on site. We went through the whole bible before this. The new Testament, the Torah, and some of the old testament.

Closing prayer; O Lord, make us a vessel of your power, in the name of Jesus
Let heavens open and let your glory of God fall upon us, in the name of Jesus.
O God baptize our eyes, ears and mouth to receive, hear and speak wondrous things
We receive fresh fire and fresh anointing, in the name of Jesus.
Let the fire of God consume every works of Darkness in our life
Let the spirit of God purify our  intellect, will and emotions, in Jesus Name
Let the spirit of God purify  my soul, spirit and body, in Jesus Name we pray Amen.

For those who wish to become a child of Our Heavenly Father or wish to be stronger in his eyes, please say the following prayer below.

Dear Heavenly Father, I know I’m a sinner, and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe Jesus Christ is Your Son. I believe that He died for my sin and that you raised Him to life. I want to trust Him as my Savior and follow Him as Lord, from this day forward. Guide my life and help me to do your will. I pray this in the name of Jesus. Amen.”
