Opening Hymn: Servant of the Lord by Carrie Maxwell Wrigley.
Long ago, in a lonely garden far away, He knelt to pay the awful price for me.Trembling with pain that only He could bear, He suffered there, Creation’s King. Then Calvary He ascended, with His body torn and bended,And His life He sacrificed for me. Behold, the servant of the Lord: Rescued by Thy mercy, and by Thy blood restored: Here I bow, accept me now, a servant of the Lord.
I’m amazed that He could care for me so much: His healing touch has made me whole.Overcome, I fall down in humility: On bended knee, with heart and soul,I give Him my hours, my talents, my possessions, My life and all I’ll ever be! Behold, the servant of the Lord: Standing now before Thee to live by every word. Look on me, I will be a servant of the Lord.
Once I thought – I could repay Him if I only fight With all my might to serve Him to the end.But I’ve found – when I reach out and try to help someone, His blessings come and shower me again. And so my debt increases, for His mercy never ceases: This is love I never can repay! Here am I, a servant of the Lord: Let me praise Thy glory, and magnify Thy word. Call on me, I will be a servant of the Lord.
Here am I, a servant of the Lord: Rescued by Thy mercy, and by Thy love restored. Call on me, I will be a servant of the Lord.

Sermon
John the baptist had the job of baptizing people and bringing them to the lord. The deciples of Jesus did what he commanded them in assisting him in healing the sick and afflicted and people near death.
Jesus helped deliver many people from any evil spirits within them. Some included Mary Magdalene, and the daughter of a synagogue worker. If the spirits were casted out they would then land in animals and other earth creatures. He later healed the woman in a synagogue with seizures and tremors. He lay his hands on her and everything ceased. Jesus rebuked a lot of storms and other bad weather conditions as well.
John the Baptist and the deciples had many important jobs. Jesus was always able to give a lot of people food even if the quantity was small.
A lot of people came to Jesus one day and were very curious. It was about the adversary that was talked about. Jesus revealed what this adversary was like in one lightening bolt. Jesus assured many people that if they give thier lives to him they will not have to worry about answering to Satan. The father brought Jesus’s friends to him. Jesus always went over how the commandment of loving the lord with all your heart, soul, mind and stregnth is very important.
Jesus was a teacher of many subjects, but one thing he taught that was very necessary was how to pray to The Heavenly Father. He also mentioned about how it is also important to be forgiving of those who trespass and that are a debtor. Also to take things by one day at a time.
The fear of the lord is not so much to be fearful of him, but have a very deep love towards him. In a sense also another fear of the lord is that he has the authority to cast into hell. Around the time of the lord coming again there will be division, for example young people against their parents, or vice versa. There could also be a very intense heat like a fire on the earth.
Closing Hymn: Our hearts still burn by Amazon Music
Foolish minds and unbelief could not grasp what the prophets sing:
Did not Jesus have to suffer, enter glory through agony?
When the King unpacked his Word:
Their hearts leapt and their eyes could see.
Everything the Scriptures say in the Prophets, the Law, the Psalms,
The Messiah had to suffer, had to rise on the first Lord’s Day;
We proclaim to every land true forgiveness in Jesus’ name.
We were deaf but now we hear
Scripture’s voice both in type and word.
Unbelief that had us chained has become in our eyes absurd.
Did our hearts not burn within us as he spoke with us on the way
And our hearts still burn with fire as his Word speaks to us today.
Did our hearts not burn within us as he spoke with us on the way
And our hearts still burn with fire as his Word speaks to us today.
Closing prayer: Father, I confess that I worry about many things, rather than trusting Your Word implicitly. Help me to learn to cast all my cares upon You day by day and moment by moment. As each worry and concern forms in my mind, I pray that I would take that thought captive to Christ. I pray that with Your help, I will look to You and hand over my anxious thoughts to You, knowing that You have promised to carry me through all of life’s difficulties and provide for the needs of me and my family. Thank You for Your goodness and grace and I pray this prayer in the name of Jesus, AMEN.
Benediction: Go and tell people, friends, colleagues, about miracles that Jesus the son of our heavenly father performed while here on earth. Also about his teachings. Also, speed the word of our heavenly father throughout the week. We pray that you have enough faith and it does not take much to do this. In Jesus’s name Amen.
