Opening Hymn:
Love Devine, all love excels by St. George’s chapel choir Windsor Castle.
Love divine, all loves excelling
Joy of Heaven to Earth come down
Fix in us Thy humble dwelling
All Thy faithful mercies crown
Jesus, Thou art all compassion
Pure, unbounded love Thou art
Visit us with Thy salvation
Enter every trembling heart
Breathe, O breathe, Thy loving spirit
Into every troubled breast
Let us all in Thee inherit
Let us find that second rest
Take away the love of sinning
Alpha and Omega be
End of faith, as its beginning
Sets our hearts at liberty
Come almighty to deliver
Let us all Thy life receive
Suddenly return and never
Never more Thy temples leave
Thee we would be always blessing
Serve Thee as Thy hosts above
Pray, and praise Thee without ceasing
Glory in Thy perfect love
Finish then Thy new creation (Finish then Thy new creation)
Pure and spotless let us be (Pure and spotless let us be)
Let us see Thy great salvation (Let us see Thy great salvation)
Perfectly restored in Thee (Perfectly restored in Thee)
Changed from glory into glory (Changed from glory into glory)
‘Til in Heaven we take our place (‘Til in Heaven we take our place)
‘Til we cast our crowns before Thee (‘Til we cast our crowns before Thee)
Lost in wonder, love and praise
‘Til in Heaven we take our place
‘Til we cast our crowns before Thee
Lost in wonder, love and praise

Sermon for Sunday December 20, 2020
Paul discussed the covenant that is only for those who believe in Jesus Christ. That was in your fist lesson of this week.
There were two covenants; one was under Moses, which was too strict for anyone to follow. Then Jesus came to save us, and then a second covenant was made. This is the covenant of Love, Grace, Peace and rest. It is for those who trust Jesus and believe in him.
Paul was anguished over the feelings of Isreal, and wished to help those who become children of God, and help those who are already a child of God to stand tall and strong. They are children of God through the promise of Jesus if they truly believe.
Paul shared a prayer to the people of Isreal and stated that the people have a lot of zeal when it comes to god. It is not by thier knowledge. The prayers are very often. Paul often talked about an ongoing conflict with a church in the early days of christianity. This conflict was over how the jews and gentile would relate to god. Many of them later converted to christian.
Paul later than went over how the jews and gentiles after becoming christians believed Christ would come again. Many of the Roman Government would hound them about this and thier theories. Many of the jews thought that thier faith and christianity was blasphemous and critical.
