Opening Hymn: Come we that love the lord
Come, we that love the Lord,
And let our joys be known;
Join in a song with sweet accord,
Join in a song with sweet accord
And thus surround the throne,
And thus surround the throne.
We’re marching to Zion,
Beautiful, beautiful Zion;
We’re marching upward to Zion,
The beautiful city of God.
The sorrows of the mind
Be banished from the place;
Religion never was designed
Religion never was designed,
To make our pleasures less,
To make our pleasures less.
This awful God is ours,
Our Father and our Love;
He will send down his heav’nly powers,
He will send down his heav’nly powers,
To carry us above,
To carry us above.
The God that rules on high,
And thunders when He please,
Who rides upon the stormy sky,
Who rides upon the stormy sky,
And manages the seas,
And manages the seas.
The hill of Zion yields
A thousand sacred sweets
Before we reach the heav’nly fields,
Before we reach the heav’nly fields,
Or walk the golden streets,
Or walk the golden streets.

Paul defending his character to the people of Corinth. There are still many that are questioning his qualifications to be an apostle to the Lord.
God puts one man and one woman in the bond of marriage. It takes a lot of guidance from God to make a marriage successful. This is due to either of the people having desires to see other people outside of the marriage. What Paul had taught the other corinthians about Jesus and the church was the truth. He said that even if he was not as great of a speaker as those whom he referred to as the “super apostles” of the church, his knowledge and beliefs were equally true.
When there is revelation of God and when we fully surrender ourselves to him. As well as do things in his honor and Glory. Paul said he did not want anything he told them to raise himself in their eyes, rather they should form their own opinions of him. He said that he had his own weaknesses, or his own thorn in the flesh, to keep him humble, and that Christ’s power works through Paul’s weakness. Paul reminded the church at Corinth that they themselves were weak. They had recognized that the presence of Jesus was within them. Paul told the Corinthians that he prayed to God for them regularly so that they will continue to stay strong in faith in Christ.
