Opening Hymn: Make us one by Jesus Culture
One with the father
One with the spirit
One with the son of God
One with our sister
One with our brother
One family by the blood
Make us one, make us one
Your will be done
Make us one
One heart with heaven
One mind connected
One body unified
Bind us together
Now and forever
Jesus be glorified
Make us one, make us one
Your will be done
Make us one
Oh, make us one, make us one
Your will be done
Oh, make us one
We confess all our offenses
We confess we’ve been afraid
We repent of all the pride
Let all the hurt be washed away
For all the wars and violence
Against our enemies
Come heal our land with your great river
Restore the family
Make us one, make us one
Your will be done
Make us one
Oh, make us one, make us one
Let your kingdom come
Make us one
Oh, make us one

Opening Prayer: Heavenly Father, thank You for sending the Lord Jesus to be the full and final sacrifice for sin, so that by faith in Him we have the forgiveness of sins, life everlasting.. and have been united together with Christ.. forever. Thank You that by faith we have the privilege of knowing wonderful things from Your Word, and the indwelling Holy Spirit.. to guide us into a greater knowledge of the things of God – to Whom be all praise and glory – in Jesus name we pray, AMEN.

Sermon: The disciples, Jesus, the cross and about what happened after the cross. The book of John; summary of chapters 16-21. Please read carefully.
Chapter 16 went over what would happen between the time when Jesus went to heaven and when he comes again. There would be many trying times. God would always be watching over us. All things on this earth belong to God, but we have the blessing of enjoying them.
Chapter 17 Jesus died on the cross for all of us. Before this happened he would teach his word through the bible so there would be an understanding. His father’s children would have the right to joy and peace as long as they believed. Jesus is within us through the Holy Spirit. He is the light to get to heaven.
Chapter 18 Jesus was questioned by many while on trial for many things; even about him being a king. Pontious Pilate had later come to the conclusion that there was no evidence of a crime being comitted by Jesus. Judas Iscariot was supposed to be the one to betray Jesus, but it ended up being Peter.
Chapter 19 Jesus was made fun of while on trial. He was spat on, given a crown of thorns, and dressed in purple. Pontious Pilate after the trial tried to say that he was the king of the jews.
Chapter 20 When Mary Magdalene went to check on the tomb where Jesus was laying she found it missing. A guard standing watch said Jesus is not here he has risen. An angel later commanded her to go spread the news around town. Jesus later appeared to people in a meeting and said peace be unto you. Many could not believe what they saw.
Chapter 21 All about Jesus being a sheopard and a good leader. It also mentioned Peter’s preparation to be a minister. The first step to this was them sharing a meal together. There were times Peter failed Jesus as a leader. Jesus then helped rehabilitate Peter.

Closing Hymn: Blessed Assurance by Elevation Worship:
Blessed assurance, Jesus is mine
Oh, what a foretaste of glory divine
Heir of salvation, purchase of God
Born of His spirit, washed in His blood
Perfect submission, all is at rest
I in my Savior, am happy and blessed
Watching and waiting, looking above
Filled with His goodness, lost in His love, oh oh
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long
This is my story, this is my song
Praising my Savior all the day long, oh oh oh oh
Oh, what a Savior, wonderful Jesus
Oh, what a Savior, wonderful Jesus
Oh, what a Savior, wonderful Jesus
Oh, what a Savior, wonderful Jesus
Oh, what a Savior, wonderful Jesus
Oh, what a Savior, wonderful Jesus
Oh, what a Savior, wonderful Jesus
Oh, what a Savior, wonderful Jesus
Death could not hold You
You are victorious
Praise to the risen King
Death could not hold You
You are victorious
Praise to the risen King
Oh, what a Savior, wonderful Jesus
Oh, what a Savior, wonderful Jesus
Oh, what a Savior, wonderful Jesus
Oh, what a Savior, ah
Wonderful Savior, ho, oh

Benediction: Now, go and talk to your friends, family, colleagues, or whoever you are comfortable talking to about what you have learned from the sermon above. Also, go and read these verses as well either by bible studies, or just the bible. Get it into your heart so you can also have the light of Jesus. If you are a christian this is good, but if you are not, you have to ask Jesus to come into your heart as well. We thank our heavenly father for sending Jesus to do this above work, and we ask that Jesus will help us get people to believe where he is now. We ask this in Jesus’s name. Amen.
