Opening Hymn: All in Jesus by Barney E. Warren
There is peace and joy in the Lord today,
More than all in this world of sin;
There’s a happy life in the holy way;
Praise the Lord, I have entered in. Refrain:Praise the Lord, I am free!In His love and grace;Oh, His blood reaches me;I abide ’neath His smiling face.
I am blessed today, I am free indeed;What a pleasure to serve the Lord!How it fills my soul with delight to readIn His sacred and holy Word.
Since my cross is gone and my heart is right,Oh, how blessed to do His will!Now His yoke is easy, His burden light,And His spirit my soul doth fill.
If you’re overcome when you would do right,If a deep, aching void within;There’s a sting of guilt, and a sinful blight,That will keep you from entering in.
All His grace is free as the air we breathe;We may each have a full supply;If we will obey, and His word believe,He’ll prepare us to dwell on high.

Opening Prayer: Heavenly Father, we pray that the people that read this sermon gets this message loud and clear and understands it. Also that the words are pleasing to your ears. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Sermon Sunday October 8th chapters 1-5 of Acts.
Title: Hoping the following message will help your faith get stronger and your walk with Jesus will get stronger. The Holy Spirit will help you if you let him. Use this sermon as encouragement and knowledge.

All the power that Jesus Christ was given was discussed and then he went to heaven and was seated at his father’s right hand. 12 disciples were then named and some of them got to pick up on the ministry started by Jesus. Some of them also got to work with Judea and Semoria.
When the Holy Spirit came upon the apostles. They thought they were drunk at first, but they were not. The Holy spirit was upon them and in them and they began to speak in different tongues. The men that did the act or had it done had asked the deciples what to do when they realized that they killed the son of god. Peter stood up and said ask for forgiveness and repent and get baptized and saved and he said to save themselves. The holy spirit would come upon them if they did these things.

A few disciples were about to enter a temple when a gentleman that always is there seemed to have a problem walking. The disciples prayed for him and said to him to rise up and walk in the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth. He did this, and then was leaping and dancing and saying praise to God for allowing him to be able to walk around. A lot of the congregation felt very amazed because this guy was always known that he could not walk. This does show how much of a miracle maker Jesus is and that if you have a strong faith and believe he can help you a lot in times of need. People who are vessels of Jesus can also help through him telling them what to do and giving them the power to do what he says. Some of this power is within us and Jesus will help us bring it out when it is time and in his will to do so.
You see the example and the miracle done by the disciples. If you have a strong faith, and it is in the heavenly father’s will to do it, Jesus and him will allow you to do the same type of miracles. Always if you are allowed to do it, say it is Jesus. Without Jesus we are nothing. We need to walk with Jesus and our heavenly father, spiritually. We can only walk with him if he allows us too. He will show you the way if he wants you to do so. Remember, Jesus is the light, and the only way to our heavenly father. Also remember, all 3 beings are the same being, so knowing all 3 is knowing our heavenly father. They are all the same.
After the miracle seen by the church, the leaders wanted to leave the apostles go, but they could not see how because they needed to be punished because you cannot perform something like that on this earth at that time. They reprimanded the apostles and left them go. They could not deny that it happened because they saw it with there own eyes. Peter and the apostles saw a miracle in the church but they wanted to let the group go. They could not figure out how without punishing them. At first Peter and John were seen as ignorant. Prayers were said and the church shook. There was a negotiation for what had happened, where money was put at an apostles’ feet.
A married couple had walked into a church and then told a lie. Afterward they both ended up dead. It was very sudden and quick due to lying to God. Many disciples had been teaching about Jesus, but because of what had happened to them for doing the action they had ceased. This was considered a sin but back then you had to sometimes give in to the elders because consequences were too great. God then probably allowed them to stop and might have been sent to other places to preach. It does not really say in this chapter but we will find out in other chapters.
The moral of this part of the sermon. You shall not lie, because it could cause you harm, and even death, back then it caused death for these two people. Remember, we are all going to be judged one day. The final judgement will be God, and he could throw you into the lake of fire for lying, or maybe not; unless you repent of it.

Just for a reminder of the 10 commandments; find them below

1.You shall have no other gods

2. You shall not make idols.

3. You shall not misuse the name of the Lord.

4. Remember the Sabbath, keep it holy.

5. Honor your father and mother.

6. You shall not murder.

7. Thou shalt not commit adultery

8. You shall not steal.

9. You shall not lie.

10.You shall not covet.

You see, this generation seems to forget the 10 commandments that our heavenly father set for us to follow. This world has been doing things that they should not be doing for a long time. Some say that is the old covenant, but it is in the new covenant as well. Because we do not follow the 10 commandments, we need our father’s grace, and need to repent. God cannot be near sinners. He sent his son to us to save us from sin, but let us try not to sin so much, and ask the lord to help us in doing this. Those who are god’s children should be following the above, and those who would rather be in the light, and not the dark should follow them too. Those who are not a child of God lets say this prayer together.

Heavenly Father, I know I am a sinner, and I ask for forgiveness for all sins comitted, and I ask the Holy Spirit to come into my life and live with me and guide me and help me become a better Person. I beleive Jesus died for our sins. I wish to be born again. I ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

By saying this prayer we believe you got born again, however we encourage you to get into your bibles and listen to ministers on TV and get involved with a local church near you; either virtual, or if one is open near you. Here are a few tv stations all over the world that are pretty good. Daystar, Trinity Broadcasting Network, Sunrise Broadcasting Network, Hillsong, and Impact. These are probably the best that go all over.
Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, we pray that whoever reads this page will get all of this into thier hearts. Whether they are your children now, or going to be your children. We pray that they receive this message loud and clear. That they also understand the message. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Closing Hymn: Rejoice the lord is king by Charles Wesley
