We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. We also obey Our Heavenly Father in what he wants us to do, we have a very good and deep walk with him. We would like you to have that as well. Friday March 6, 2026. Do not Do not slander, and what it means.
Our Heavenly Father views slander as a serious, sinful, and destructive behavior that He hates, as it misrepresents truth, ruins reputations, and causes division. The Bible severely warns against it, categorizing it with malicious works of the flesh and identifying it as a tool of the devil, who is the ultimate slander. Scripture outright forbids slander, instructing believers to “get rid of all” bitterness, rage, and harsh words, as mentioned in this Facebook post and this Bible verse Ephesians 4:31,32.
Slander is considered a grave sin because it stirs up strife, ruins churches, and destroys relationships. Because the word “Satan” means “slanderer,” engaging in it is seen as doing the devil’s work. The Bible instructs individuals to stop slandering and to instead be kind and forgiving, according to Ephesians 4:31-32. Slander breaks the “royal law” and harms the one spoken about, the speaker, and the hearer, as highlighted by God defends those who are slandered, especially for walking in the truth, Jesus stated that those who are slandered or insulted for His sake are “blessed” and will have a great reward in heaven, as noted in Matthew 5:11-12. Because Our Heavenly Father is truth, He will eventually bring the truth to light, Jesus taught in the Beatitudes that those who are falsely slandered for His sake are “blessed” and will receive a great reward in heaven.
Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, I come before You asking for protection from the lies and slander spoken against me. Please put a guard over my mouth and block out the false words others say. I ask for the strength to not react in anger, but to trust You to vindicate me and expose the truth. Heal the wounds caused by these words, and grant me the grace to forgive those who have wronged me, releasing any bitterness in my heart. In Jesus’ name.
Our Lord and savior we pray. Please forgive me of my sin
against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the
Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me.
