Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Associate Pastor Jessie K. Weiss. We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. Believing in the existence of a higher power. Friday May 30, 2025.

Believing in the existence of a higher power, whether it’s Our Heavenly Father, a divine force, or something else entirely, signifies a belief in a source or influence greater than oneself and potentially guiding the universe. This belief can offer comfort, purpose, and meaning in life for many individuals. The specific concept of a “higher power” can vary widely, from a personal relationship with Our Heavenly Father in the Christian sense to a more abstract concept of an underlying reality.
In Christianity, the higher power is often understood as The Heavenly Father, the creator and ruler of the universe.
Some people may have a more personal understanding, like a “power greater than themselves” in recovery programs.

Higher power means Supreme Soul or God. The person who is connected with the higher power will have sharp discerning power and decision power. His/her character shall be strong and not loose. For some people, a higher power is a deity or supernatural being. Others believe it is a supreme being that is greater than other gods. For some, it is a single, all-knowing god or a conception of the power of a god. Others don’t believe in beings.

13 Verses 1 to 7. [1] Let every soul be subject unto the higher powers. For there is no power but of Our Heavenly Father: the powers that be are ordained of Our Heavenly Father.

Closing Prayer: Heavenly Fatherthank you for the gift of belief and the strength to trust in you, even when I don’t fully understand. Help me to deepen my faith and to live a life that reflects my love and gratitude for your grace.”

  • Our lord and savior we pray. Please forgive me of msins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
