Rev.Raynette K. Weiss and Associate Pastor Jessie K. Weiss. We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. How Enoch served Our Heavenly Father. Wednesday October 1, 2025.

Enoch served Our Heavenly Father by living a purposeful, consistent, and faithful life

of communion with Him, which resulted in Him being “taken up” to heaven without experiencing death. He walked in fellowship with Our Heavenly Father separated from the sinful world, and demonstrated a deep faith and trust in his will, which pleased Our Heavenly Father immensely. His Purposeful Walk with Our Heavenly Father’s Purpose:
Enoch had a specific mission to please him, and he focused on keeping pace with Our Heavenly Father in his daily life.  Consistency:
He walked with Our Heavenly Father not just in good times but consistently, in both good and bad times, demonstrating unwavering commitment. Faith:
Enoch lived by faith, which means he was connected to Our Heavenly Father and walked in accordance with His ways, even in a fallen generation.

His Intimacy and Communion with The Heavenly Father Prayer:
Enoch maintained a close relationship with Our Heavenly Father through prayer and fellowship, confiding in him about his needs and love for Him.  Word:
He also listened to Our Heavenly Father by meditating on His Word, understanding His will, and seeking His instructions.  Holy Spirit:
His ability to walk with God was enabled by the Holy Spirit, who led and empowered him.

Separation from the World. Consecration:
Enoch wisely separated himself from the ways of men to consecrate himself to Our Heavenly Father and His will, even without the support of an assembly of people.  Antithetical Life:
His life was antithetical to the world, meaning he said “yes” to Our Heavenly Father and His will while saying “no” to sin and temptations.

The Result of His Faith Pleasing Our Heavenly Father:
Because of his consistent faith and intimate walk with Our Heavenly Father, Enoch pleased him.  Ascension to Heaven:
Genesis records that “Enoch walked with Our Heavenly Father; and he was not, for Our Heavenly Father took him,” indicating he was translated to heaven without experiencing death.

Closing Prayer:

“Heavenly Father,

I come before You, meditating on the life of Enoch, who pleased You so perfectly that You took him to be with You. I praise Your wisdom and power to take a mortal man and translate him into Your presence without seeing death.

Lord, I long to walk with You in that same way, to seek Your pleasure in all things, and to bring honor to Your name through my service to You. I pray for a deeper connection with You, that my life may be a testament to Your glory, much like Enoch’s was.

May I develop a heart that is ever-seeking Your will, understanding Your purpose for me, and remaining faithful in all my tasks. Grant me the grace to be fruitful in every good work and to grow in my knowledge of You, reflecting Your light to the world around me.

Help me to live each day in such a way that my transition from this earthly life to Your eternal presence is a seamless one, as Enoch experienced. Let me be so intimately connected with You that I may not even notice the moment I am taken into Your eternal embrace.

Thank You, Father, for the promise of Your presence and for the hope of eternal service in Your kingdom.

In Jesus’ Name, I pray.

Our lord and savior we pray. Please

forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
