Rev.  Raynette K. Weiss and Associate Pastor Jessie K.  Weiss. We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels.  Matthew chapter 24 18-30 American standard version with words defined that you may not understand. Tuesday December 2, 2025.

18 and let him that is in the field not return back to take his cloak. 19 But woe(an exclamation of grief, anguish, and a pronouncement of judgment and calamity),unto them that are with child and to them that give suck in those days! 20 And pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on a sabbath: 21 for then shall be great tribulation, such as hath not been from the beginning of the world until now, no, nor ever shall be. 22 And except those days had been shortened, no flesh would have been saved: but for the elect’s sake those days shall be shortened. 23 Then if any man shall say unto you, Lo, (no ) here is the Christ, or, Here; believe [h]it not. 24 For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall show great signs and wonders; so as to lead astray, if possible, even the elect.(chosen). 25 Behold, I have told you beforehand. 26 If therefore they shall say unto you, Behold, he is in the wilderness; go not forth: Behold, he is in the inner chambers; believe [i]it not. 27 For as the lightning cometh forth(came from) from the east, and is seen even unto the west; so shall be the [j]coming of the Son of man. 28 Wheresoever the carcase (the land) is, there will the [k]eagles be gathered together.

29 But immediately after the tribulation of those days the sun shall be darkened, and the moon shall not give her light, and the stars shall fall from heaven, and the powers of the heavens shall be shaken: 30 and then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven: and then shall all the tribes of the earth mourn, and they shall see the Son of man coming on the clouds of heaven with power and great glory.

Matthew 24:18-30 is a prophecy from Jesus that describes two major events: the impending destruction of Jerusalem and the ultimate return of the Son of Man. The passage advises followers to flee to the mountains to escape the first tribulation, warning that those who are unprepared will suffer. It then shifts to a more cosmic, yet to be fulfilled, prophecy of Jesus’ second coming, which will be visible to all and is symbolized by a gathering of vultures (or eagles) around a dead body, signifying a time of great death and judgment before the final gathering of the elect.

Encouragement suggestions: Please get to know your Heavenly Father , and please learn to walk with him before that time comes. Also spend a lot of time with the bible or read previous lessons online.

Closing Prayer:  Heavenly Father we pray that the people that read this fully understand what you are saying to us, and that your Holy Spirit will help them if they do not understand and please guide them if they are not your children, and we also hope that it will help them become your children. We pray this in the name of Our lord and savior.

Our lord and savior we pray, please forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me.
