Rev.  Raynette K. Weiss and Associate Pastor Jessie K. Weiss. We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. Our Heavenly Father is the one who is supposed to decide the ending of a life, not the earth. Friday January 2, 2026.

The view that only a “heavenly father” (God) should decide when a human life ends is a core tenet of the sanctity of life doctrine found in many faith traditions, particularly within Christianity and Judaism. This perspective argues that human life is a sacred gift from Our Heavenly Father, and as such, its beginning and end are solely within Our Heavenly Father’s sovereign control. Our Heavenly Father is the creator and sustainer of life, and only the creator has the authority to take it away. Passages in the Bible, such as Job 14:5 and Psalm 139:16, are cited to support the idea that an individual’s days are determined by Our Heavenly .Father. Humans are considered stewards of their lives, not owners. Decisions about life and death should reflect Our Heavenly Father’s will, not human self-determination. Every human life has intrinsic value and dignity because humans are created in the image of Our Heavenly Father (Imago Dei). Actively ending a life is seen as an attack on this inherent dignity and inviolability. Suffering: Suffering, illness, and the end of life are considered part of Our Heavenly Father provide initial plan and may have spiritual significance, such as an opportunity for growth, patience, or trust in Our Heavenly Father. This belief system often forms the basis for opposition to practices like euthanasia, physician-assisted suicide, and the death penalty. Many Christian denominations, including the Roman Catholic Church, formally oppose capital punishment, arguing that modern penal systems offer non-lethal means to protect society, making the death penalty unnecessary and thus “inadmissible”.The theological perspective often distinguishes between active killing (which is prohibited) and allowing the natural dying process to occur by refusing extraordinary medical treatments that only minimally prolong life. A human decisions to prematurely end life are an infringement upon divine authority. The Fifth Commandment, “You shall not murder” (Exodus 20:13), is often interpreted as an absolute prohibition against the deliberate taking of innocent human life, which some denominations extend to include euthanasia and, in modern times, capital punishment. Some theological perspectives suggest that suffering can have spiritual significance, offering an opportunity for growth, patience, or trust in Our Heavenly Father, and preparing for the next life. Prematurely ending life may interrupt this spiritual process. In the context of capital punishment, many Christian arguments against it point out that a person should remain alive to allow for the possibility of repentance and conversion, which an execution would prevent.

This perspective generally leads to opposition to practices that intentionally end a human life, while still often allowing for the refusal of extraordinary medical treatments that only artificially prolong the dying process, as this is considered letting a natural process take its course rather than actively killing.

It is also important to remember that the only legal way of life being taken on earth is by a person receiving the death penalty for crime, or being in a war.

Remember also if this was you, you would not want it to happen to you prematurely either, but this is why it is important to become a child of Our Heavenly Father because if you pray to him and ask him to help you out of pain or get this belief of premature ending out of your hearts he would do that, all you have to ask and pray. Also it is important to remember that when you are a child of Our Heavenly Father he can clean out an illness or disease  if there is one that might be a problem he can clean it out, or any other problems you might have, he can fix them, you just have to believe in him and be a child of his.  If he does not help then there is another reason for it, Maybe a deeper walk needs to take place. We also suggest you to read the prayer below if you want to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. It is never to late. He loves everyone that comes to him despite there mistakes in life.

Your Heavenly Father does not want you to end your own life prematurely or anyon else’s, he watches everything that gos on. Even if the person is not his child because he wants you to become his child; it is very important to become a child of Our Heavenly Father. He built  the earth and owns it. We are stewards of it, we are his vessels as well. For those who believe in him and talk about him are considered his vessels.  Instead of wanting to end someones’s life, encourage them to become a child of Our Heavenly Father and pray alt to him. There is too much today of people taking things into their own hands about people’s lives,  When Our Heavenly Father decide’s to end a life he will do so without any help. If you try to help him in this matter it really does not help, it messes his plans up, and other people too. There are also many people in this world today that have been healed by Our Heavenly Father. Also, if someone is disabled from birth you always have to remember that they can have a lot of birth defects in their bodies, and hav a lot of spasticity, therefore it is not good to aggravate, harass, or hunt them down when it had been decided many times by the highest court in our country that they are absolutely fine, and will be fine.  It is also important to not put a briner on the team working with them that may not understand what is the situation.

Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father we pray that all who read this lesson take it very seriously and do what should be done according to your will for their lives. We pray and ask this in the name of your son Jesus.

Our lord and savior we pray, please forgive me of my sins

against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me.
