Opening Hymn: I speak Jesus by Charity Gala:”

I just wanna speak the name of Jesus

Over every heart and every mind

‘Cause I know there is peace within Your presence

I speak Jesus

I just wanna speak the name of Jesus

‘Til every dark addiction starts to break

Declaring there is hope and there is freedom

I speak Jesus

‘Cause Your name is power

Your name is healing

Your name is life

Break every stronghold

Shine through the shadows

Burn like a fire

I just wanna speak the name of Jesus

Over fear and all anxiety

To every soul held captive by depression

I speak Jesus

‘Cause Your name is power

Your name is healing

Your name is life

Break every stronghold

Shine through the shadows

Burn like a fire

Shout Jesus from the mountains

Jesus in the streets

Jesus in the darkness, over every enemy

Jesus for my family

I speak the holy name

Jesus, oh (oh)

Shout Jesus from the mountains

And Jesus in the streets (oh)

Jesus in the darkness, over every enemy

Jesus for my family

I speak the holy name

Jesus (Jesus)

‘Cause Your name is power

Your name is healing

Your name is life

Break every stronghold

Shine through the shadows

Burn like a fire

Your name is power (Your name is power)

Your name is healing (Your name is healing)

Your name is life (You are my life)

Break every stronghold (break every stronghold)

Shine through the shadows

Burn like a fire

I just wanna speak the name of Jesus

Over every heart and every mind

‘Cause I know there is peace within Your presence

I speak Jesus

Sermon:

The Heavenly Father works as a supreme, loving, and active parent to his creation. His work is not random but purposeful, and he operates through his eternal plan for humanity’s salvation.

Christians believe God the Father is the supreme architect and initiator of the divine plan for all of humanity. This plan for salvation is expressed through the work of the Trinity. Obedience is driven by a love for Our Heavenly Father, not just a hope to have a reward for doing so. Jesus connects loving Him with keeping His commandments “If you love me, you will keep my commandments” (John 14:15).

Obedience can be two ways: it includes refraining from forbidden actions (“not doing the things you’re not supposed to do”) as well as performing necessary actions (“doing the things you are supposed to do”).

It takes a lot of effort to align your will with his will, even when it is difficult. This involves prayer, such as the submission in the prayer “Not my will but your will,” and a commitment to surrender to His authority. The scriptures make it clear that Our Heavenly Father is the one who ultimately directs the course of events. Proverbs 16:9 states, “The heart of man plans his way, but the LORD establishes his steps. Many traditional Christian stories for All Hallow’s Eve, also known as Halloween, are not meant to be scary but to serve as spiritual reminders of the “four last things”: death, judgment, heaven, and hell. The night was originally a vigil of prayer and fasting in preparation for All Saints’ Day on November 1st. uses a group of friends to teach about the spiritual meaning of the day—prayer, penance, and the Communion of Saints Deuteronomy 18:10-12 states that the Israelites were forbidden from practicing divination, witchcraft, sorcery, and other forms of occultism, including child sacrifice, and that these acts are detestable to the Lord. The passage lists various forbidden practices, such as interpreting omens, casting spells, and communicating with mediums or the dead. The passage emphasizes that the Lord will drive out.All Saints’ Day originated from the early Christian practice of honoring martyrs, evolving into a feast to recognize all saints. It was moved to its current date of November 1 by Pope Gregory IV in the 9th century, following earlier observances on different dates like May 13th. Today, the feast honors both officially canonized saints and the countless unnamed faithful who have lived holy lives. Honoring all saints.

Closing Hymn: Another blessing by Melvin Williams:

I like to take a little time out to thank God

For the minute blessing He’s given me

When I look back all of my life

And I see where He brought me from

I can truly say

That I’ve been blessed

Let me say this

Woke up this morning, got out of my bed

I looked around, here’s what I said

Thank you Lord for the blood You shed

You put a roof up over my head

Thank you Lord for another day

All these blessings you send my way

I say: I could’ve been dead, in some lonesome grave

But you told death, you told it to get back and behave, ooh

Ooh wee (Ooh wee)
