Opening Hymn: This is our god by Phil Wickham:

Remember those walls that we called sin and shame?

They were like prisons that we couldn’t escape

But He came, and He died, and He rose

Those walls are rubble now

… Remember those giants we called death and grave?

They were like mountains that stood in our way

But He came, and He died, and He rose

Those giants are dead now

… This is our God, this is who He is

He loves us

This is our God, this is what He does

He saves us

He bore the cross, beat the grave

Let Heaven and Earth proclaim

This is our God, King Jesus

… Remember that fear that took our breath away?

Faith so weak that we could barely pray

But He heard every word, every whisper

… Now those altars in the wilderness

Tell the story of His faithfulness

Never once did He fail, and He never will

… This is our God, this is who He is

He loves us

This is our God, this is what He does

He saves us

He bore the cross, beat the grave

Let Heaven and Earth proclaim

This is our God, King Jesus

… Who pulled me out of that pit? He did, He did

Who paid for all of our sin? Nobody but Jesus

Who pulled me out of that pit? He did, He did

Who paid for all of our sin? Nobody but Jesus

Who rescued me from that grave? Yahweh, Yahweh

Who gets the glory and praise? Nobody but Jesus

Who rescued me from that grave? Yahweh, Yahweh

Who gets the glory and praise? Nobody but Him

… This is our God, this is who He is

He loves us

This is our God, this is what He does

He saves us

He bore the cross, beat the grave

Let Heaven and Earth proclaim

This is our God, King Jesus

He bore the cross, beat the grave

Let Heaven and Earth proclaim

This is our God, King Jesus

… Oh, this is our God.

Sermon:

TheBiblical Meaning of Music.A Divine Gift:
Music is seen as a gift from Our Heavenly Father, meant to be used to glorify Him and uplift His people.A Language of Emotion:
Music communicates emotion and can stir the soul, bringing people to faith and preparing them to receive the Holy Spirit.  A Spiritual Connection:
Music can carry the presence of the Holy Spirit, and anointed music can shift spiritual dynamics. A Universal Expression:
From ancient times (Genesis 4) to heavenly visions in Revelation, music has been a fundamental aspect of human and divine expression, celebrating God’s great deeds. The Book of Enoch is an ancient collection of pseudepigraphal texts attributed to Enoch, the great-grandfather of Noah, though not actually written by him. It expands on biblical narratives, offering detailed accounts of fallen angels (the Watchers) and their offspring (the Nephilim), providing explanations for the Genesis Flood, and sharing cosmological and astronomical knowledge. While influential in the early Christian church, it was ultimately excluded from the biblical canon by most Jewish and Christian traditions due to its pseudepigraphal nature and non-canonical themes, with the exception of the Ethiopian Orthodox Church.

Enoch had a specific mission to please him, and he focused on keeping pace with Our Heavenly Father in his daily life.  Consistency:
He walked with Our Heavenly Father not just in good times but consistently, in both good and bad times, demonstrating unwavering commitment. Faith:
Enoch lived by faith, which means he was connected to Our Heavenly Father and walked in accordance with His ways, even in a fallen generation.

His Intimacy and Communion,Biblically, to forgive each other is to freely let go of anger and bitterness towards someone who has wronged you, much like God has forgiven you through Christ. It involves a choice to stop dwelling on the offense and to refuse to hold the guilt over the offender’s head. While forgiveness does not necessarily mean condoning the sin or instantly reconciling the relationship, it is a powerful act of love that releases you from resentment and models God’s own love and mercy to the world. A Conscious Choice: Forgiveness is a decision and an action, not just a feeling. It requires a deliberate intent to release the offense.
Spiritually, October can signify a time of harvest, transformation, and divine reset for believers, according to various Christian perspectives. The spiritual meaning of October is not explicitly detailed in the Bible, but various spiritual interpretations are derived from its place in the calendar year and its association with biblical themes. Praying and meditating are important practices with well-documented physical, mental, and spiritual benefits. They can improve emotional regulation, reduce stress and anxiety, enhance focus and memory, and foster a greater sense of peace, hope, and self-awareness. While prayer is often seen as reaching out to a higher power, and meditation as a way to reach inward, they can complement each other, providing spiritual connection and inner peace for people of various backgrounds and belief systems.

Closing Prayer:”Heavenly Father, thank You for Your immeasurable grace and the forgiveness You have extended to me through Jesus Christ. I confess my own sins and thank You for bearing them on the cross, which allows me to be free from guilt and shame.

Lord, I acknowledge that it is difficult to forgive those who have wronged me, but Your Word commands it. I ask for Your strength and the Holy Spirit to help me let go of all bitterness, anger, and resentment. Help me to clothe myself with love and compassion, as You have shown me.

Give me the grace to extend the same unconditional love and forgiveness to others that You have shown me, and may my heart be ruled by the peace that comes from Christ.

In Jesus’ name.

Our lord and savior we pray. Please

forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
