Opening Hymn: Praise in the temple: it’s service time by Dorothy Norwood:
I’m here to here to come and here to have – tonight
Oh, you’re in the right place
I hope you can hear when I praise on your mind
Oh yeah
When there’s a praise in the temple and a praise in the house
You can usher in the spirit and remove the devil out
God will open up a window and a blessing he’ll pour out
When there’s a praise in the temple
And a praise in the house
When there’s a praise in the temple and a praise in the house
You can usher in the spirit and remove the devil out (yes sir)
God will open up a window and a blessing he’ll pour out
When there’s a praise in the temple
And a praise in the house
When there’s a praise in the temple and a praise in the house
You can usher in the spirit and remove the devil out
God will open up a window and a blessing he’ll pour out
When there’s a praise in the temple
And a praise in the house
It’s service time, it’s service time
It’s service time, it’s service time
Enter into the gates with thanksgiving and a praise on your mind
It’s service time, it’s service time
It’s service time, it’s service time
Get up outta that seat
Stand up on your feet
Let’s clap to the beat, it’s service time
It’s service time, it’s service time
It’s service time, it’s service time
Enter into the gates with thanksgiving and a praise on your mind
It’s service time, it’s service time
It’s service time, it’s service time (Listen)
Get up outta that seat
Stand up on your feet
Let’s clap to the beat, it’s service time
You won’t leave like you came in Jesus name
There’s a blessing in this house that you can claim
All you have to do is speak it, it’s in your name
You won’t leave like you came in Jesus name
You won’t leave like you came in Jesus name
There’s a blessing waiting on you, you can claim
It’s predestined and ordained, it’s in your name
You wont’ leave like you came in Jesus name
It’s service time, it’s service time
It’s service time, it’s service time
Enter into the gates with thanksgiving and a praise on your mind
It’s service time, it’s service time
It’s service time, it’s service time
Get up outta that seat (Come on)
Stand up on your feet
Let’s clap to the beat, it’s service time
Yeah, when there’s a praise in the temple and a praise in the house
You can usher in the spirit and remove the devil out
God will open up a window and a blessing he’ll pour out
When there’s a praise in the temple
There’s a praise in the temple (Can you feel the praise?)
Praise in the temple (When there’s a praise)
Praise in the temple (The blessing will come back)
Praise in the temple (There’s a praise in here right now)
Praise in the temple (Yeah)
Praise in the temple
When there’s a praise in the temple and a praise in the house
Hallelujah!
Yeah
Sermon:
Our Heavenly Father helps keep his people out of dangerous situations and things that might cause harm to them. He does this by guiding people away from the dangerous area and making them go somewhere else. Many people write testimonies about what Our Heavenly Father did for them. Back when a person was a child and doing a normal activity; all the sudden dangerous things began to happen and Our Heavenly actually picked them up and got them out of danger or moved the danger somewhere else. This person was only 3 years old at the time, so Our Heavenly Father does protect children differently but does still protect them. Eventually when your Heavenly Father hears your voice enough times he will begin to talk back. Keep praying to him and this will make the connection strong as well. Early mornings are the best time to speak with your Heavenly Father, it is the most quiet time of the day. Keep the relationship with Our Heavenly Father as deep as possible. Let him know often how much you love him and thank him for all he does and for each day of life that he blesses you to have. The whole point of Jesus doing this was to be sure that He would be alone so He could spend time with The Heavenly Father. Our Heavenly Father’s blessings empower His children by offering guidance, support, and comfort throughout their lives, fostering spiritual growth, personal strength, and a sense of purpose. All of the purpose for Our Heavenly Father’s blessings enrich our lives and help with coping with the earthly part of life. All of this is done in The Heavenly Father’s glory.
A father’s blessing to his son or daughter symbolizes approval, purpose, and a spoken legacy. This blessing wasn’t just a formality but a spiritual act.
Worshipping the Lord, spending time with the Lord and sharing the gospel are just a few ways we can glorify Our Heavenly Father daily. Our Heavenly Father, our Creator, deserves all glory and honor.
A positive difference is made in the world, ultimately pointing people towards Our Heavenly Father. Many people that tour the world and come to our country need help from Our Heavenly Father and are guided towards him a lot.
Closing Hymn ; A name I highly treasure by Barry Kaufman:
I’ve learned to know a name I highly treasure.
O how it thrills my spirit thro’ and thro’!
O precious name, beyond degree or measure,
My heart is stirred whenever I think of You!
My heart is stirred whenever I think of Jesus,
That blessed name which sets the captive free —
The only name thro’ which I find salvation.
No name on earth has meant so much to me.
(2) That name brings gladness to a soul in sorrow.
It makes life’s shadows and its clouds depart —
Brings strength in weakness for today, tomorrow,
That name brings healing to an aching heart.
My heart is stirred whenever I think of Jesus,
That blessed name which sets the captive free —
The only name thro’ which I find salvation.
No name on earth has meant so much to me.
(3) That name still lives and will live on forever,
While kings and kingdoms will forgotten be.
Thro’ mist or rain, ’twill be beclouded never.
That name shall shine and shine eternally.
My heart is stirred whenever I think of Jesus,
That blessed name which sets the captive free —
The only name thro’ which I find salvation.
No name on earth has meant so much to me.
