Opening Hymn: Beautiful Garden of Prayer by James Fillmore:
Verse 1
When burdens weigh and shadows loom,
And doubt and fear begin to bloom,
Remember prayer’s enduring grace,
A sacred bond, a holy space.
Verse 2
In quiet hours, or amidst the fray,
Let words of faith find their way,
To realms unseen, to heavens high,
Where answers bloom, and dreams can fly.
Verse 3
A whispered hope, a heartfelt plea,
To the Source of all eternity,
In prayer we find our strength renewed,
A journey blessed, a path imbued.
Verse 4
So let us rise, in unity and grace,
And offer prayers, in this sacred place,
For God’s sweet peace, to fill our soul,
And make our spirit strong and whole.
Sermon:
Prayer connection can be a source of strength and guidance. Prayer can help individuals find peace amidst stressful situations, offering a space for reflection and mindfulness.
It also allows for the expression of gratitude for blessings received and strengthens a sense of appreciation for life’s positive aspects.
Prayer is a way to express one’s needs, seek guidance, and communicate with a higher power, building a stronger relationship with the divine.
Repentance allows individuals to be freed from the burden of sin, find peace with Our Heavenly Father, and experience a renewed sense of purpose. You are to use this whenever you sin, or feel like but are not sure. Remember something that we have gone over many times before. Some groups of people are gifts from Our Heavenly Father. This means these people are special to Our Heavenly Father and usually have special talents given to them by Our Heavenly Father before they get here. The Holy fire is a symbolic representation of the resurrected Christ and the triumph of light over darkness. It’s also a powerful display of faith and a means of communicating God’s presence, while also serving as a point of unity for Christians worldwide. An alphabet is a list of the elementary sounds used in any language. More strictly speaking it is that particular series, commonly known as the Phoenician. The Greek letters Alpha and Omega relate a concept of from the beginning to the end, or a completeness.
The Holy Ghost fire has the capacity to remove the negative things in your life, the iniquity and sins. It will keep your heart holy and clean, and as well keep you focus on The Heavenly Father. These signs include wind, fire, breath, and rivers of living waters.
Closing Hymn: Sweet hour of prayer by W.W. Walford:
1 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
that calls me from a world of care,
and bids me at my Father’s throne
make all my wants and wishes known.
In seasons of distress and grief,
my soul has often found relief,
and oft escaped the tempter’s snare
by thy return, sweet hour of prayer!
2 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
the joys I feel, the bliss I share
of those whose anxious spirits burn
with strong desires for thy return!
With such I hasten to the place
where God my Savior shows his face,
and gladly take my station there,
and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!
3 Sweet hour of prayer! sweet hour of prayer!
thy wings shall my petition bear
to him whose truth and faithfulness
engage the waiting soul to bless.
And since he bids me seek his face,
believe his word, and trust his grace,
I’ll cast on him my every care,
and wait for thee, sweet hour of prayer!
Closing Prayer:
Heavenly Father Thank God for something beginning with each letter, or for something each letter reminds you of:
Our lord and savior we pray. Please forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
