Opening Hymn: Hosana by Hillsong;
I see the King of Glory
Coming on the clouds with fire
The whole earth shakes, the whole earth shakes, yeah
I see His love and mercy
Washing over all our sin
The people sing, the people sing
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
I see a generation
Rising up to take their place
With selfless faith, with selfless faith
I see a near revival
Stirring as we pray and seek
We’re on our knees, we’re on our knees
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Heal my heart and make it clean
Open up my eyes to the things unseen
Show me how to love like You have loved me
Break my heart for what breaks Yours
Everything I am for Your kingdom’s cause
As I walk from earth into eternity
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna
Hosanna in the highest
Hosanna in the highest
In the highest
In the highest
Hosanna, Hosanna in the highest
A mighty angel declares that “there will be no more delay” and proclaims that God’s final plans are about to be fulfilled. Chapter 11 describes the ministry of two witnesses during a period of tribulation, their miraculous powers, their martyrdom by a beast, and their miraculous resurrection and ascension to heaven. Chapter 12 describes a cosmic battle between a woman, representing Israel or the Church, and a dragon, representing Satan. The chapter recounts the birth of a male child (Jesus Christ) who is caught up to Our Heavenly Father’s throne, leading the dragon to persecute the woman, who flees to a wilderness sanctuary. Chapter 13 describes a vision of two “beasts” that are empowered by a dragon (Satan) to deceive and persecute people, challenging them to worship them instead of Our Heavenly Father. chapter 14 serves as a powerful reminder of GOur Heavenly Father’s ultimate authority, the importance of enduring faithfulness, and the eternal consequences of life choices.
Chapter 15 serves as a prelude to the final outpouring of God’s wrath, describing two heavenly visions: the triumphant saints who have overcome the Beast singing a song of praise, and seven angels who emerge from the heavenly temple to receive seven bowls filled with God’s wrath, which will be poured out in chapter 16.
Closing Hymn: To God be the glory by Fanny J. Crosby;
Verse 1
To God be the glory, great things He hath done!
So loved He the world that He gave us His Son,
Who yielded His life an atonement for sin,
And opened the life gate that all may go in.
Chorus
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.
Verse 2
O perfect redemption, the purchase of blood,
To every believer the promise of God;
The vilest offender who truly believes,
That moment from Jesus a pardon receives.
Chorus
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.
Verse 3
Great things He has taught us, great things He has done,
And great our rejoicing through Jesus the Son;
But purer, and higher, and greater will be
Our wonder, our transport, when Jesus we see.
Chorus
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the earth hear His voice!
Praise the Lord, praise the Lord,
Let the people rejoice!
O come to the Father, through Jesus the Son,
And give Him the glory, great things He has done.
Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, we come before You to praise Your name and acknowledge Your perfect and sovereign power in heaven and for Your plan unfolding across the world.
We rejoice with those who have overcome the beast and his image by singing the song of Moses and the song of the Lamb, notes the Reddit post. Lord, help us to be among that number who are victorious through faith in Jesus Christ.
We pray for discernment to see Your hand at work in our world today and for a deep sense of reverence and humility as we consider the coming judgment. Clothe us in Your righteousness and make us bold to share the message of Your grace and the hope we have in You with everyone around us.
Salvation prayer
Our lord and savior we pray, please forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me.
