Opening Hymn: He walks with Me by Marle Haggard:
I come to the garden alone
While the dew is still on roses
And the voice I hear falling on my ear
The son of God discloses
And he walks with me and he talks with me
And he tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
He speaks and the sound of his voice
Is so sweet, the birds hush their singing
And the melody that he gave to me
Within my heart is ringing
And he walks with me and he talks with me
And he tells me I am his own
And the joy we share as we tarry there
None other has ever known
Sermon:
The meaning of the hymn “Blessed be the name” is to express worship, praise, and trust in God’s character and sovereignty, especially in the face of suffering, drawing from the biblical story of Job (Job 1:21). The song encourages a heart of gratitude, reminding believers to acknowledge God’s goodness and power in all circumstances, whether joyful or sorrowful, and to find comfort and hope in the redemption offered through Christ’s sacrifice. To prevent blessings from being blocked, address inner barriers such as unforgiveness, negative mindsets, and disobedience, and practice spiritual disciplines like prayer, gratitude, and positive affirmations to align your heart with divine guidance. By reflecting on your actions,Go beyond verbal thanks by embodying gratitude in your daily life. Serve and bless others:
Show thanks by serving others and contributing to your church family, as this action is noble and touches heaven. Appreciate the ordinary:
Give thanks for the basics, such as the ability to walk, see, and hear, and for people who care for you.
The Antichrist is a figure of Christian eschatology, meaning he is a person or entity prophesied to oppose Jesus Christ, deny his true nature, and falsely claim to be a savior, particularly before the Second Coming of Christ. The term “antichrist” itself carries two meanings: “against Christ” and “instead of Christ,” highlighting both opposition and imposture. While there is a specific, end-times Antichrist figure who will gain world power and attempt to deceive humanity, the Bible also refers to a general “spirit of antichrist” in a multitude of people who deny Jesus’s humanity and mission.
The letter has two main goals: to encourage believers to love one another and to warn them about those who spread false teachings about Jesus Christ
Analysis of the Deceivers:The “Coming in the Flesh”:
The core of the deception was the denial that Jesus was truly human. This was crucial because if Jesus was not physically present in human form, he could not have suffered, died, and resurrected in a way that atones for sins and offers salvation.
A Heavenly Father, within the Christian context, offers grace and forgiveness through the sacrificial love and atonement of Jesus Christ, who died for humanity’s sins. This grace is an unearned, freely given gift, and forgiveness is complete, undeserved, and unconditional. The Father extends these gifts out of His boundless love, compassion, and mercy, not expecting anything in return, to demonstrate His profound goodness and to offer a way to be reconciled with Him.
Closing Prayer:
“Heavenly Father, deliver us from the deceptions of the cunning antichrist and all his snares. Protect us in the refuge of Your salvation. Grant us the strength and courage to stand firm in our faith, confessing Your holy Name and remaining in Your holy Church. May our fear of You be greater than our fear of him. We pray for tears for our sins and ask for Your mercy on the day of judgment.
Our lord and savior we pray. Please
forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
