Opening Hymn: No spiritual corruption by Truly Evangacal Church.
Verse 1)
In humble heart, we seek Thy grace,
To walk in light, to find Thy face.
No spiritual corruption, Lord,
We long for purity, your word.
(Verse 2)
With open eyes, we’ll see the way,
To serve Thy will, come what may.
No darkness, Lord, can hold us fast,
We’ll walk with You, our future cast.
(Verse 3)
With faith and hope, we’ll rise above,
To live in love, a life of love.
No spiritual corruption here,
We’ll serve You faithfully, my dear.
- Sermon:
- Spiritual corruption can lead to placing worldly desires and values above spiritual ones, causing a lack of focus on Our Heavenly Father’s plan for our lives.
Moral corruption refers to the deterioration of ethical standards and principles, leading individuals or societies to engage in immoral or unethical behavior. In other words, a society built on injustice is inherently corrupt. It is usually highlighted as wrought with corruption. Power Does Not Corrupt, It Reveals Corruption. Developing strong moral character involves defining one’s core values, practicing good habits, surrounding oneself with people of character, taking risks, and committing to self-improvement.
A priority is something that is important to us, something that we care about. If something is important to us, then we will show that by our deeds. For instance, the Bible tells us that if our faith is truly important to us, we will demonstrate that in our works.
To keep your priorities straight biblically, prioritize your relationship with Our Heavenly Father by dedicating time each day to prayer, worship, and studying his Word. This foundational commitment will help you discern Our Heavenly Father’s will and navigate other areas of your life.
Christian love is a powerful force that transforms lives, fosters community, and reflects the love of Our Heavenly Father in a tangible way. Greater love has no one than this, that someone lays down his life for his friends” (John 15:13). And “if Our Heavenly Father so loved us, we also ought to love one another” (1 John 4:11). Additionally, strengthening your spiritual core through practices like prayer, meditation, scripture study, and seeking support from others can be helpful.
However, Daniel and his friends model for us these five ways we can deepen our integrity in a world that seems to discourage it.
- Be willing to make tough choices. …
- Treat your adversaries with respect. …
- Build your moral compass around Jesus. …
- Stay consistent in the small things.
To remove spiritual attacks, focus on strengthening your spiritual shield through prayer, scripture, and seeking Our Heavenly guidance. Additionally, consider practicing forgiveness, releasing negative emotions, and engaging in practices that connect you with your faith community.
Closing Hymn: Thank you lord by The Dauphin Harvest Church;
Verse 1:
The mystery of the cross I cannot comprehend.
The agonies of Calvary.
You the perfect Holy One, crushed Your Son.
Who drank the bitter cup reserved for me.
Chorus:
Your blood has washed away my sin.
Jesus, thank You.
The Father’s wrath completely satisfied.
Jesus, thank You.
Once Your enemy, now seated at Your table.
Jesus, thank You.
“Thank You Lord” (Verse 1 and Chorus):
Verse 1:
I come before You today.
And there’s just one thing that I want to say.
Thank You Lord thank You Lord.
For all You’ve given to me.
For all the blessings that I cannot see.
Thank You Lord thank You Lord.
Chorus:
With a grateful heart with a song of praise.
With an outstretched arm I will bless Your name
Closing Prayer: “Heavenly Father, we come before you with a heavy heart, acknowledging the presence of spiritual corruption in our lives and in the world around us. We confess our own shortcomings and any ways we may have fallen short of your perfect will. We ask for your grace and mercy to heal and restore us.
In the name of Our lord and savior we pray.
Our lord and savior we pray. Please forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
