 To stay focused on Jesus during deep study, consistently schedule dedicated time for prayer and Scripture, make it interactive (journaling, music), eliminate distractions, and surround yourself with believers, constantly bringing your thoughts and concerns to Him throughout the day, remembering His authority and victory as your anchor Schedule consistent, distraction-free time daily for Bible reading and prayer, treating it like an important appointment.

Don’t just read; interact with the text through highlighting, Bible journaling, listening to audio Bibles, or even composing music inspired by. Talk to Jesus throughout the day about everything, big or small, and listen for His voice, making prayer a constant dialogue. Ponder His teachings and how He’s at work in your life, using His Word as an anchor for your day. Find or create an environment with minimal distractions for prayer and study to deepen focus. 

Begin your day with Him to set a Christ-centered tone, rather than starting with problems. Intentionally focus on Jesus, the “author and finisher of your  faith,” and resist the lies and fears that pull your attention away. Hold onto the truth that as a believer, you’re already a winner in Christ, giving you strength.

Engage with other believers in worship or Bible study to stay connected and shift focus outward. Say “yes” to ministry opportunities that require reliance on His strength, forcing dependence on Him.

Closing Prayer: “Heavenly Father,

I thank You that I am a new creation in Christ, raised to new life with Him. Today, I choose to focus my heart and mind on You, Lord Jesus. Please help me guard my thoughts from distractions, unnecessary pressures, and anything that pulls my attention away from what truly matters. 

Our lord and savior we pray, please forgive me of my sin

against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me.
