Rev.  Raynette K. Weiss and Associate Pastor Jessie K. Weiss. We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. We also obey Our Heavenly Father in what he wants us to do, we have a very good  and deep walk with him. We would like you to have that as well. How to have Humility for Our Heavenly Father. Friday January 9, 2026.

To have humility for Our Heavenly Father involves recognizing your dependence on Him, submitting your will to His, serving others with a Christ-like attitude, and focusing on His greatness rather than your own, which grows through prayer, confession, gratitude, and living a selfless, God-centered life, rather than seeking self-exaltation.

Ask Our Heavenly Fatherto increase your humility and for guidance, trusting His answers even if they’re difficult. Emulate Jesus by serving others, even in lowly tasks, and consider others’ needs above your own.

Honestly acknowledge your sins and weaknesses, confessing them to God and seeking forgiveness.Accept Our Heavenly Father’s  will and direction, even when it’s challenging, recognizing His authority. Be thankful for Our Heavenly Father’s blessings and recognize Him as the source of your strengths.Compare yourself only to Jesus Christ, understanding His sacrifice and love, which puts your own standing in perspective.Give your worries and anxieties to Our Heavenly Father, acknowledging you don’t have to handle everything alone.

Shift your focus from self-centeredness to Our Heavenly Father’s  infinite power, wisdom, and love. View yourself, others, and your service from Our Heavenly Father’s  perspective, recognizing the worth of everyone.Be Teachable: Be open to correction and feedback from God and others, understanding it’s a path to growth. Humility isn’t thinking less of yourself but thinking of yourself less, acknowledging your dependence on God.Not Hypocrisy: True humility is an inward change, not just an outward show of righteousness.

Closing Prayer:

“Heavenly Father help me to be humble of heart like You. When I am selfish, makere me eager to serve those I meet. Transform my heart to treat everyone with kindness and see the good in them, not the bad. Help me to not think too highly of myself, but to trust You to lift me up in Your time. In Jesus’ name.

Our lord and savior we pray, please forgive me of my sin

against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me.
