Rev. Raynette K. Weiss and Associate Pastor Jessie K. Weiss. We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. What is it like in a christian home. Monday June 16, 2025.

Proverbs 24:3-4 states, “By wisdom a house is built, and by understanding it is established; by knowledge the rooms are filled with all precious and pleasant riches.”

Joshua 24:15 encourages, “as for me and my house, we will serve the Lord.”

Isaiah 32:18 My people will dwell in a peaceful habitation, in secure dwellings, and in quiet resting places.” This verse promises peace, security, and rest for those who belong to the Lord.

Matthew 7:24-25

“Everyone then who hears these words of mine and does them will be like a wise man who built his house on the rock. And the rain fell, and the floods came, and the winds blew and beat on that house, but it did not fall, because it had been founded on the rock

Lesson:

In a home with people that are christian, faith is nurtured through prayer, Bible study, and worship, and where family members strive to love and support one another in accordance with Christian values. Jesus Christ is the main driver and focus of the lives of the people in the home.

It provides an environment where every member of the family learns how to live by studying the Scriptures, praying, meditating on Our Heavenly Father’s Word, and spending time alone in the presence of the Lord.

Godly homes are where imperfect families rely on Our Heavenly Father’s grace to be faithful reflections of Him in the way they relate to others. It is shelter; it is security; it is a kind of school where life’s basic lessons were taught. It is a kind of church where Our Heavenly Father is honored; Many of the household members enjoy watching christian TV channels and hearing radio stations with daily services and messages of the day that Our Heavenly Father would want his people to pay close attention to, as well as many christian worship songs. A christian home members always have a lot of knowledge and wisdom of Our Heavenly Father with them; so remember,
home is not a “Christian” home unless the caregivers intentionally pass along their knowledge and love for Our Heavenly Father, have regular family devotions. · Faithfully attend church. · Establ,sh internet guidelines. · Set boundaries for your children
for those homes that have children in them.

So start inviting God in to your everyday. Ready for a few steps to try? Tip: Like a new workout regimen, don’t try to incorporate all these at once. Work up to a healthy pace that works for your own family!)

Closing Prayer:”Heavenly Father, we thank you for this home, a gift from your hand. We ask that you would make it a sanctuary, a place where your presence is felt and your will is honored. Fill it with your love, joy, and peace. Bless us, your family, who dwell within, with health, strength, and wisdom. May this home be a refuge from the storms of life, a place where we can grow in faith and love for one another and for you. Protect us from all harm and evil, and let your angels encamp around us. May our conversations be filled with your grace and our actions with your righteousness. We dedicate this home to you, Lord, and ask that you would reign here as King. In Jesus’ name.

  • Our lord and savior we pray. Please forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
