Lesson:
The Holy fire is a symbolic representation of the resurrected Christ and the triumph of light over darkness. It’s also a powerful display of faith and a means of communicating God’s presence, while also serving as a point of unity for Christians worldwide. According to the belief, the fire emerges miraculously and is lit by the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit’s fire burns up the lies and reveals the truth of Our Heavenly Father’s loving instruction so that you know the ways in which you should go.In Leviticus 9:24, Our Heavenly Father Himself lit the fire. And because of this, it became holy fire, as though the Hand of God touched it. It was never to be allowed to go out; it had to be fed constantly to keep it from going out. The fire of God was always with them continuously in the pillar of fire above and below. Holy Fire is the miracle play ritual that has played out over the chapel of Jesus’ tomb there. The intent is to inspire. And that’s okay. It’s still (purportedly) the tomb of Christ so anything that happens in there is “good” “sacred. The fire is also said to spontaneously light other lamps and candles around the church. Pilgrims say the Holy Fire will not burn hair, faces. Some suggest the Holy Fire is a physical sign to those who might otherwise not believe in the truth of, preventing them from claiming they would have converted if they had seen such evidence. The Holy Fire, appearing miraculously inside the Church of the Holy Sepulchre in Jerusalem, is seen as a tangible manifestation of Christ’s resurrection and the divine light that accompanies it
Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father I pray that You would guide me in understanding the purpose of Your Holy Fire. I see it as a symbol of Your presence, the light of Resurrection, and the power of Your Spirit. May this Holy Fire not just be a spectacle, but a transformative force in my life. I pray that it may reveal Your truth, consume my darkness, and ignite my passion to follow Your will. Help me to recognize the Holy Fire in my life and the lives of others, and to respond to it with faith, courage, and devotion.
Our lord and savior we pray. Please forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
