Sermon for Sunday August 9, 2020

Opening Hymn: Oh Lord, your love has called us here

Lord God, Your love has called us here,As we, by love, for love were made.Your living likeness still we bear Tho’ marred, dishonored, disobeyed. We come, with all our heart and mindYour call to hear, Your love to find.
We come with self inflicted pains. Of broken trust and chosen wrong,Half free, half bound by inner chains,By social forces swept along,By powers and systems close confined,Yet seeking hope for human kind. Lord God, in Christ You call our name,And then receive us as Your own,Not thro’ some merit, right, or claim,But by Your gracious love alone. We strain to glimpse Your mercy seat,And find You kneeling at our feet. Then take the towel, and break the bread,And humble us, and call us friends.Suffer and serve till all are fedAnd show how grandly love intendsTo work till all creation sings, To fill all worlds, to crown all things.Lord God, in Christ You set us free Your life to live, Your joy to share.Give us Your Spirit’s liberty To turn from guilt and dull despair. And offer all that faith can do,While love is making all things new.

Opening Prayer: Our heavenly father we pray that our congregation understands this sermon wherever they are, and if they do not that they write us, call, or send a message on facebook. We ask that you help them to understand this message in Jesus’s name Amen.

Chapter 5 Mark. Last week 1-4 was done for the book of Mark. This chapter goes over how Jesus has the authority to cast out evil spirits from the flesh. It also mentions how demons are cast out to help clean the soul.

Chapter 6 Mentions about the loving acts that Jesus was able to do such as feed many people on very little food. He also taught the important lesson of learning not to fear, even if a storm becomes very strong. Jesus is also known as the good Shepard because when there is a need for good leadership.

Jesus loves everyone and wishes to have a lot of fun with his people. He also wishes you to repent any sins that are within your life. As we are all sinners stated in chapters in other books of the bible.

Special corner of very special meaning of a word and feelings that associate with it, Not Part Of The Book of Mark.
I would like to touch on the meaning of the corona virus. In Spanish, corona means crown. Corona is also a virus that is spirit as well. We sense that if all the people in this country repent for sins that the country has done in the past, and any other countries around the world; but it would take all citizens and others to repent for this country; and thier own country if from another, if this should occur, chances are this virus will go away. The heavenly father did not cause this virus; his adversary did. He can work this virus for turning things around into something good. Also, remember, if you have a strong faith in God, you should not catch this virus. If you pay more attention to him instead of other things you probably would have more joy and and peace all over the untied states, and the rest of the world, since he created the world. You know, sometimes our heavenly father will allow things to happen, so we will turn to him, and has to get our attention somehow. He is just turning a bad thing to result in something good.

Closing Prayer; Our Heavenly Father, we pray that your children get the above message, and not be so fearful of The Corona Virus. Also, that they will find it in thier hearts to pray for The United States, and the rest of the world to repent for all the wrong doings over the centuries. We pray this in the name of Jesus, Amen.

closing Hymn; Jesus healer of our every ill by Marty Haughn
Healer of our every ill,
Light of each tomorrow,
give us peace beyond our fear,
and hope beyond our sorrow.
You who know our fears and sadness,
grace us with your peace and gladness.
Spirit of all comfort, fill our hearts (Refrain)
In the pain and joy beholding
how your grace is still unfolding,
give us all your vision, God of love (Refrain) Give us strength to love each other,
every sister, every brother.
Spirit of all kindness, be our guide (Refrain)

You who know each thought and feeling,
teach us all your way of healing. Spirit of compassion, fill each heart. (Refrain)

Benediction: Go in peace this week, and tell everyone wherever you go to pray, so that the Corona Virus should disappear. Please remember from this day forward to spend more time with your lord and savior so he does not have to get your attention for those who are saved, for those who are not saved we suggest getting saved. He is your heavenly Father. Getting to know him is the most important thing you can do down here on earth. We pray this in Jesus name, Amen.

For those who are not yet saved, and wish to be saved, you can say this prayer. “Heavenly Father, please come into my life through your son Jesus Christ; and help me straighten up the mess I made. I am a sinner who now does not wish to be a sinner. Please forgive me. Amen.
