Opening Hymn; Come, now is the time to worship by Brian Doerksen
Come, now is the time to worship
Come, now is the time to give your heart
Come, just as you are to worship
Come, just as you are before your God
Come
One day every tongue will confess You are God
One day every knee will bow
Still the greatest treasure remains for those
Who gladly choose You now
Come, now is the time to worship
Come, now is the time to give your heart
Come, just as you are to worship
Come, just as you are before your God
Come
One day every tongue will confess You are God
One day every knee will bow
Still the greatest treasure remains for those
Who gladly choose You now
Willingly we choose to surrender our lives
Willingly our knees will bow
With all our heart, soul, mind and strength
We gladly choose You now
Come, now is the time to worship
Come, now is the time to give your heart
Come, just as you are to worship
Oh come, just as you are before your God
Come, come, come, oh come
Oh come, come
Bow, you nations
Come and worship
Come and worship your maker

Opening prayer; Heavenly Father, we want to thank you for bringing us Timothy and Peter, and the words in the book 1 Timothy. We also hope that the words written below are pleasing to your site. We want to ask Jesus if he will help the readers understand this book of 1 Timothy. We ask this in the name of Jesus. Amen.

Sermon for Sunday march 21, 2021

In Lesson 1 Timothy was talking to Paul and he said that Christ came to save everyone. If you follow Jesus you will live forever eternally. Paul was also the biggest sinner around. Jesus helped turn him around. If Jesus can do this for Paul why cannot everyone try to strive to do better today. Could it be that too many people have pride and like to do things thier way, and try to be God. I hope none of you are those, but there are many people in this world like this. Try to remember these points that Paul brought out in chapter 1. Always if you make a mistake ask for forgiveness. Remember this also, two wrongs do not make a right. Most of your younger generation either does not know this or does not understand it, or does not care. Let us remember what the bible says. We are all equal in the eyes of God. Judgement day is coming. Let us clean up, and start being truthful to each other and to God.
In 1 Timothy lesson 2, once again, Paul is talking to Timothy. He urges that all petitions, prayers, and also thanksgiving be available for all people including kings, as well as others that have authority. This was to be so the people could live quiet, peaceful, lives in holiness and godliness.
In lesson 3 Paul begins to talk about how the church should run. Also how the deacons should be pure and truthful in holiness, and how thier wives should also be the same.
Paul tells Timothy in 1 Timothy lesson 4 not to let any person look down upon him since he was young. Timothy was to be a good example for all of the believers in conduct, in speech, in faith, in purity, and in love. … He warns Timothy to carefully watch his life, as well as the doctrine.
1 Timothy lesson 5; All about how to handle sin. It also points out the do’s and do nots of a servant of God.
1 Timothy chapter 6; outlines the duties of Christians in their beliefs and also as it pertains to other masters. It speaks of godliness and contentment. It contains a solemn demand for Timothy to be faithful. The chapter closes with the apostle reiterating a warning to the rich and ends it with a blessing.

Closing Hymn; How great is our God by Chris Tomlin
The splendor of a King, clothed in majesty
Let all the Earth rejoice
All the Earth rejoice
He wraps himself in light
And darkness tries to hide
And trembles at His voice
Trembles at His voice
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God
Age to age He stands
And time is in His hands
Beginning and the end
The Godhead Three in One
Father Spirit Son
The Lion and the Lamb
The Lion and the Lamb
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God
Name above all names
Worthy of our praise
My heart will sing
How great is our God
You’re the name above all names
You are worthy of our praise
And my heart will sing
How great is our God
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God
How great is our God, sing with me
How great is our God, and all will see
How great, how great is our God
The whole world sings, the whole world sings
How great is our God
How great is our God
How great, how great is our God

Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father, we increasingly see that dangers caused by false teachings in the early church are equally concerning in Christendom today. Thank You for Your word and the many warnings it gives, to avoid the evil and do all that is well-pleasing to the Lord. Help me to be discerning in my life and never to pay attention to the fanciful myths and unbiblical philosophies that are becoming so popular today. Help me keep the focus of my heart on JESUS. Keep us from falling into the trap of dismissing the destructive element in things like myths and mere speculation, which can become such a hindrance to spiritual growth and the spread of the gospel. Keep us low at the cross and humble before You and help us to translate biblical truth into practical application, for You greater glory, this us ask in Jesus name, AMEN.

For those who wish to become a child of our heavenly Lord, or strengthen thier faith, please pray the following prayer below.

Dear Heavenly Father, I want to be a part of your family. You said in Your Word that if I acknowledge that You raised Jesus from the dead, and that I accept Him as my Lord and Savior, I would be saved. Thank you, Heavenly Father, for forgiving me, saving me, and giving me eternal life with You. Amen!”
By saying this prayer, we believe you are born again.

Benediction; Now, go in peace and share what you have learned today in God’s word, and through the past week. Have a very joyful and peaceful week.
