Luke 12:2-3 12:2 There is nothing concealed that will not be disclosed, or hidden that will not be made known.
12:3 What you have said in the dark will be heard in the daylight, and what you have whispered in the ear in the inner rooms will be proclaimed from the roofs.
1 Thessalonians 4:11 – And that ye study to be quiet, and to do your own business, and to work with your own hands, as we commanded you;
Jeremiah 40:15 Then Johanan son of Kareah said privately to Gedaliah in Mizpah, Let me go and kill Ishmael son of Nethaniah, and no one will know it. Why should he take your life and cause all the Jews who are gathered around you to be scattered and the remnant of Judah to perish?
Lesson:
Biblical privacy is more about protecting modesty than it is about being able to do what you want without anybody knowing. Modesty compels you to keep your good deeds covered rather than proclaim them on the corner (cf. Matthew 6). Modesty also compels you to keep your body covered, rather than flaunt it. As careful as the Hebrew Bible and rabbinic literature are to emphasize the value of privacy, they recognize that privacy is only one of an array of values. As such, it is inevitable that the values underlying the right to privacy will on occasion come into conflict with values underlying other rights. Biblical privacy ethics can inform contemporary privacy ethics, in spite of the obvious differences. Here is an example of privacy. Confidentiality is the commitment not to disclose information that has been given to you with either (1) the explicit instruction that the information not be divulged or (2) the implicit expectation that the information will remain private. It is also important to keep things private when in a high position, such as with the Government.
Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father help us to keep privacy where it is needed. We pray that all who read this lesson understand it, and that The Holy Spirit will help them if they do not. In the name of Our lord and savior we pray.
This prayer below is also called the sinners prayer, and it gets people to
become a child of Our Heavenly Father or strengthens thier faith within him whenever they are already a child of Our Heavenly Father.
Prayer for salvation; Lord Jesus; Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior.Take
complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
