Matthew 7:13-14  7:13 Enter through the narrow gate. For wide is the gate and broad is the road that leads to destruction, and many enter through it.

7:14 But small is the gate and narrow the road that leads to life, and only a few find it.

Proverbs 14:12 From the fruit of their lips people are filled with good things, and the work of their hands brings them reward.

Proverbs 16:9 In their hearts humans plan their course, but the Lord establishes their steps.

Proverbs 19:21  Many are the plans in a persons heart, but it is the Lords purpose that prevails.

Lesson

When we are given more options, it can be difficult to evaluate each different one. It requires more time and cognitive effort. It also can lead to anxiety and worry about making an incorrect decision. More choice may cause us to reflect constantly upon the other options that were available to us.  It suggests that this functional alteration in the brain could be the underlying physical link between stress and aberrant decision-making. For individuals consistently exposed to excessive stress – in highly-pressured jobs, for example – these detrimental effects on decision-making are likely to impact negatively on life outcomes. Choice overload can leave you frustrated with the decision process, dissatisfied with the outcome, and disappointed with yourself. But let us make one thing clear: I am not suggesting to abolish all choice. Let’s face it, a coffee snob will never be happy with a chamomile infusion. No, rather than getting rid of all choice, we need to find a healthy compromise. Our Heavenly encourages us to come to him when the options are a lot, so he can lead us to the best choice for whatever the circumstance is. It is important to be in prayer with Our Heavenly Father when choices are a big amount.

Closing Prayer; Heavenly Father help us to be mindful of how many choices we have and try to make. Help us to be in prayer with you so we can make the best choice for whatever circumstance is at hand. We pray that all who read this understand it, and that The Holy Spirit will help them understand if they do not. In the name of Our lord and savior we pray.

This prayer below is also called the sinners prayer, and it gets people to

become a child of Our Heavenly Father or strengthens thier faith within him whenever they are already a child of Our Heavenly Father.

Prayer for salvation; Lord Jesus; Please come into my heart as my Lord and Savior.Take

complete control of my life and help me to walk in Your footsteps daily by the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me and I know you will answer my prayers. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
