John 14:16 (NIV): “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another advocate to help you and be with you forever.”
The clock unspools its final thread,
The heavy skies grow cold and gray,
The quiet paths where childhood led
Dissolve into a fading day.
The cities hum a hollow tune,
And iron towers slowly rust,
Beneath a pale and breathless moon,
The ancient stones return to dust.
Yet in the chill and quiet air,
A deeper stillness takes the land,
Beyond the terror and the prayer,
The future rests in patient hands.
The shadows lengthen, deep and wide,
The river meets the endless sea,
And past the turning of the tide,
A silent dawn waits quietly.
Closing Prayer:
Heavenly Father,
You are the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end. You hold all of history in Your hands, and nothing takes You by surprise. [1]
When the world around me feels shaken, fearful, or broken, quiet my anxious heart. Remove my fear of tomorrow and give me deep confidence for today. Grant me the wisdom to discern truth from deception, and keep my eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and finisher of my faith.
Lord, infuse durability and a holy boldness into my soul. When I feel weak, remind me that Your grace is sufficient and that Your power is made perfect in weakness. Help me to love others deeply, to walk in humility, and to stand as a steady light of hope in a dark world. [1, 2, 3, 4]
I do not need to understand every detail of what lies ahead. I only need to remain close to You, secure in the palm of Your hand. Keep me watchful, faithful, and ready until Your promises are fulfilled.
Come, Lord Jesus.
Salvation Prayer or sinners prayer:
Our Heavenly Father I am sorry for my sins. I believe Jesus died for me and rose again. I give my life to You today. Thank You for Your love, grace, and eternal life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
