Today we are offering God the ongoing and chronic struggles in our livesWe are to lay everything down at His feet and He will give us rest. You were never meant to carry everything aloneWe cast our anxiety upon God when we fulfill the Lord’s commandment, “Take no thought [rather, ‘be not anxious’], saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we— Father, I abandon myself into your hands; do with me what you will. Whatever you may do, I thank you: I am ready for all, I accept all. Let only God invites us to lay down our worries at His feet because He truly cares for us—our pain, struggles, and even our silent cries matter to Him
Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father,
I come to You right now because I am weary and heavy-laden. I bring You the exact problems that are weighing on my mind: [name or think of your specific struggles]. Lord, You know the anxiety, the fear, and the confusion that these situations have caused me.
Right now, I choose to open my hands and lay every single one of these burdens at Your feet. I confess that I cannot fix or control these things on my own, and I surrender my need to have it all figured out. Please take these problems from me and replace them with Your perfect peace.
I ask that You give me the strength to leave them here. Help me not to pick them back up tomorrow or carry them through my day. Guard my heart and mind, and remind me that You are in control.
In Jesus’ Name
Dear Heavenly Father I am sorry for my sins. I believe Jesus died for me and rose again. I give my life to You today. Thank You for Your love, grace, and eternal life. In Jesus’ name, Amen.:
