We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. We also obey Our Heavenly Father in what he wants us to do, we have a very good and deep walk with him. We would like you to have that as well. Thursday March 19, 2026. How to live a balanced life.
Deuteronomy 15:10: Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you
Proverbs 20:7 – “The path of the righteous is like the morning sun, shining ever brighter till the full light of day.” (Living a balanced life
Perhaps Proverbs 16:11 provides a clear idea of the spiritual intent of living and leading a balanced life: “A just weight and balance.
A balanced life—encompassing spiritual, physical, mental, and social well-being—is expected by our Heavenly Father to achieve happiness, manage earthly duties, and avoid burnout. It involves prioritizing Our Heavenly Father and family while serving others, ensuring no single area consumes all of one’s energy or time. Balancing faith, personal effort, and relying on divine grace rather than just willpower. Structuring life around core pillars: love for Our Heavenly Father, care for family, service, and necessary daily work.
Avoiding extremes (too much work or overindulgence) and ensuring physical health, as the body is a temple.
While preparing for the future, live in harmony with Our Heavenly Father daily rather than becoming consumed by anxietyCreate attainable goals and prioritize tasks to avoid becoming overwhelmed. Keep Christ at the center of your life to keep all other aspects in harmony.
Imbalance can result in neglected relationships, poor health, and diminished spiritual life.
Living a balanced life is a foundational principle of many faiths, emphasizing that Our Heavenly Father expects His children tomaintain harmony across spiritual, physical, and temporal responsibilities. This balance is not about giving equal time to every activity, but rather about prioritizing “the things that really matter”—your love for Our Heavenly Father, care for your family, service to others, and your life’s work.
Closing Prayer: Heavenly FatherI come before You today, feeling the weight of a busy and overwhelming life. I know it is Your desire that I live a life filled with joy, purpose, and peace. Yet, I often allow my to-do list to take priority over my peace of mind and my time with You.
Please help me to find balance in all areas of my life—my work, my rest, my family, and my time with You. Give me the wisdom to prioritize what is truly important and the strength to say “no” to things that steal my joy or steal my time.
Forgive me for relying on my own strength to make it all work, rather than trusting in You. Teach me to rest properly, just as You established the Sabbath, recognizing that productivity is not the measure of my worth. +1
Show me what to pick up and what to lay down. Guide my steps so I can be fruitful, not just busy. CPC +1
