Rev.  Raynette K. Weiss and Associate Pastor Jessie K. Weiss

We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. We also obey Our Heavenly Father in what he wants us to do, we have a very good   and deep walk with him. We would like you to have that as well.  Wednesday April 29, 2026. How to pray to Our Heavenly Father

(Matthew 6:9–13): Jesus provided this template, focusing on honoring God, seeking His will, asking for daily needs, seeking forgiveness, and asking for protection.

(Matthew 6:5–8): Pray in private (in your room) rather than making a show of it to others. Avoid repetitive or empty phrases.

(1 John 5:14): Have confidence that He hears when asking for things aligning with His purpose.

To pray the “Our Father” (Lord’s Prayer), begin by addressing God with intimacy and reverence (“Our Father who art in heaven”), then pray for His honor and will (“Hallowed be thy name…”). Follow by asking for daily provision, forgiveness, and protection from evil, focusing on trust and unity. It is a prayer meant for community (“our,” “us”). .

Our Father, Who art in Heaven, hallowed be Thy name; Thy Kingdom come, Thy will be done on earth as it is in Heaven. Give us this day our daily bread; and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us; and lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen

Pray for God’s kingdom and desires to take priority over personal desires.Request daily sustenance and provision for your life.

Ask for forgiveness while pledging to forgive others..   Request protection from temptation and evil.

It can be prayed alone in quiet reflection, often recommended in a private, quiet space, or collectively during Christian worship (e.g., Mass).  It serves as a model prayer for daily devotion, gratitude, or finding comfort. It can be prayed alone in quiet reflection, often recommended in a private, quiet space, or collectively during Christian worship  The prayer is found in the Bible, specifically Matthew 6:9–13.As we pray to our Heavenly Father, we should tell Him what we really feel in our hearts, confide in Him, ask Him for forgiveness, plead with Him, thank Him, No matter where we are, whether we stand or kneel, whether we pray vocally or silently, whether we pray privately or in behalf of a group, we should always pray in faith, “with a sincere heart, with real intent”Why do you think answers to prayers are not always readily apparent? Why do you think answers to prayers do not always come when we want or in the way we want?

Prayer for Daily Guidance and Gratitude:

“Dear Heavenly Father, thank you for this day and for your many blessings. I ask for guidance in my decisions today. Please help me to follow your will, to be kind to others, and to find strength to overcome my temptations. In Jesus’ name, Amen

Prayer for Loved Ones and Protection:

I desire a closer walk with You. Teach me to pray with faith, knowing that You are my loving Father and that prayer has the power to change my heart and my circumstance. In the name of Our lord and savior we pray.
