We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. We also obeavenly Father in what he wants us to do, we have a very good  and deep walk with him. We would like you to have that as well,What is fear biblically and why is it bad.. Friday May 8, 2026.

1 John 4:18: “There is no fear in love. But perfect love drives out fear, because fear has to do with punishment. The one who fears is not made perfect in love” (NIV). This shows fear hinders experiencing God’s love.

Proverbs 29:25: “The fear of man brings a snare, but whoever trusts in the Lord shall be safe” (NKJV). Fear causes people to trap themselves or act against God’s will.

Proverbs 12:25: “Anxiety in a man’s heart weighs it down, but a good word makes it glad” (NASB). Fear and anxiety are portrayed as heavy emotional burdens.

Psalm 56:3: “When I am afraid, I put my trust in you” (NIV). This implies fear is a default human state that must be countered with trust.

Biblically, fear is either a beneficial reverential awe of God (fear of the LORD) or a harmful “spirit of fear” (cowardice, anxiety) that stems from a lack of trust in Our Heavenly Father While the first leads to wisdom, peace, and security, the latter is “bad” because it causes paralysis, disobedience, and signifies doubt in Our Heavenly Father’s  goodness and power. This is the “fear of the Lord”. It is not a terrifying dread but a profound respect for Our Heavenly Father’s  power, holiness, and sovereignty. It is “the beginning of wisdom” and leads to life, peace, and contentment. It encourages us to walk in obedience and turn away from evil. (The “Spirit of Fear”): This is a paralyzing, anxious, or cowardly spirit. It is a tormenting emotion that causes people to doubt Our Heavenly Father’s  promises. The Bible states that God does not give this spirit; instead, He gives “power, love, and a sound mind” (2 Timoth. It Demonstrates Lack of Faith: Fear acts as a barrier to trusting Our Heavenly Father, implying that He is not in control or not good, which is a core reason it is harmful. It Leads to Disobedience: Fear causes people to ignore God’s calling or make decisions based on panic rather than obedience (like the Israelites fearing to enter the Promised Land). It stops people from operating in their God-given potential and paralyzes them, similar to being “a deer in the headlights”. Fear often leads people to take matters into their own hands rather than relying on Our Heavenly Father.Unlike the peaceful “fear of the Lord,” the spirit of fear creates inner torment and worry.  The antidote to fear is replacing it with “reverential fear” of God—focusing on His magnitude makes human threats seem smallScriptures like [1 Peter 3:13-14] suggest that even if the worst occurs, a believer is blessed and protected by Our Heavenly Father. Christians are encouraged to fight fear through the power of the Holy Spirit, which gives courage and a sound mind. What does the Bible say about fear? | GotQuestions.org
Jan 20, 2026 — The Bible mentions two specific types of fear. The first type is beneficial and is to be encouraged. The second type is a detrimen.

Closing Prayer: “Heavenly Father, I come to You in the Name of Jesus Christ, believing He is Your Son, fully God and through whom is the only way to heaven… In the Name of and under the authority of Jesus Christ and the Power of the Holy Spirit, I rebuke the spirits of fear and command them to leave me now, In the name of Our lord and savior we pray.

Our Lord and savior we pray. Please forgive me of my sinagainst you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me:
