Rev.Raynette K. Weiss and Associate Pastor Jessie K. Weiss. We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. Monday October 20, 2025. Our Heavenly Father does not like people to do his job for him.

In general we are talking about how the Heavenly Father does not like people to do his job for him. Especially when it comes to deciding whether to preserve a life or not. Remember, Our Heavenly Father said in the 10 commandments that thou shall not kill another. There was one time he allowed it to him, so he could take away the sin from all of us. So you do not do this to anyone, let alone a family of disabled people. We had lessons where people with disabilities are gifts  NOTE: AN OWNER OF ANY CITY, OR MUNICIPALITY CAN OVERULE ANYRULING THAT ANY GROUP MAKES IF IT IS ON THIER PROPERTY. REMEMBER THAT.

According to Christian teachings, the Heavenly Father does not want people to “do his job for him” because it can be a display of pride, anxiety, and a lack of faith. Instead, he desires his followers to cooperate with him and participate in his work by walking in his will. Focus on heavenly rather than earthly matters. Excessive worry about tomorrow’s provisions and outcomes demonstrates a lack of trust in The Heavenly Father, who promises to care for his children. This concern for earthly matters, rather than seeking “first his kingdom and his righteousness,” is a focus that Our Heavenly Father intends to take care of.The path to burnout and distraction. The story of Mary and Martha illustrates that prioritizing busyness over devotion can lead to anxiety and resentment. While Martha was distracted with serving and complained that Mary wasn’t helping, Jesus tenderly corrected her by stating that Mary had chosen the “good portion” by sitting at his feet and listening to his word. This emphasizes that being in a relationship with Our Heavenly Fatheris the essential priority from which all other service should flow. The focus is on glorifying Our Heavenly Father not ourselves. When people take on tasks that belong to Our Heavenly Father, it is a “dangerous path to tread” because it can lead to taking credit for his work. The purpose of a Christian’s work is to glorify Our Heavenly Father, not ourselves (Colossians 3:22–24).

There is a clear distinction between The Heavenly Father’s work and human responsibilityHuman responsibility is to cooperate with The Heavenly Father. He doesn’t need people’s help, but he wants their cooperation. He gives strength to do a person’s assigned job, but not to do his. This is an empowering realization, as it means believers can rest from having to do everything themselves. Our Heavenly Father equips those he calls. The Bible contains manexamples of Our Heavenly Father using broken and imperfect people to accomplish his will, showing that it is his strength, not human ability, that makes a person effective. A prime example is Moses, who repeatedly questioned Our Heavenly Father’s calling before accepting it (Exodus 3:10–11).

The story of Mary and Martha illustrates this dynamicIn. Luke 10:38–42, Jesus visits the home of two sisters Martha is “distracted by her many tasks” and asks Jesus to tell her sister, Mary, to help her.

Our Heavenly Father’s  plan ultimately prevails. Human plans are secondary to Our Heavenly Father’s purpose. Proverbs19:21 says, “Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails”.He has already planned a good future. Jeremiah 29:11 affirms that God’s plans are for “welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope”. Worrying and trying to take control stems from a false belief that our own plans are better or more reliable than his.

In summary, the Heavenly Father desires active, obedient participation from his followers, but not an arrogant attempt to take control. He wants believers to seek his kingdom first, trust his perfect will, and rest in the knowledge that he is sovereign and will provide.

Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father we pray that everyone that reads this lesson realizes that you do not want them doing your job for you, unless you instruct them to handle something, and only then. ?Also that your people should not try to be you either. We pray this in the name of your son Jesus.

Our lord and savior we pray. Please

forgive me of my sins against you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for Saving me.
