We are two of Our Heavenly Father’s vessels. We also obeavenly Father in what he wants us to do, we have a very good  and deep walk with him. We would like you to have that as well,The best way to read the bible. Saturday May 9, 2026.

2 Timothy 2:15: “Do your best to present yourself to God as one approved, a workman who does not need to be ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.” (Emphasizes careful study).

2 Peter 1:20-21: “Knowing this first, that no prophecy of the scripture is of any private interpretation…” (Suggests scripture interprets scripture, rather than personal opinion).

The best way to read the Bible is to start with a consistent,

manageable plan that focuses on understanding the text rather than rushing through it, often starting with the Gospels to grasp the life of Jesus. Many experts recommend starting with the Gospel of John or Mark for a clear introduction to Christianity. The Gospels (John, Mark, Luke, Matthew): Start here to meet Jesus, the central figure of the Bible.

Acts of the Apostles: Reads like a history book and explains the early church after Jesus.Genesis: Ideal for understanding the foundations of creation and the overall story. Ephesians or Philippians: Brief, powerful letters that provide encouragement and practical faith instructions.

Avoid reading randomly. Use a chronological plan, a “Bible in a Year” plan, or read one specific book at a time. The SOAPMethod: A popular, structured approach: Scripture: Read a passage slowly.Observation: What stands out? What is happening? Application: How does this apply to my life? Ask Our Heavenly Father to help you apply it. Read entire chapters rather than isolated verses to understand the full message. Listening to the Bible can be helpful, particularly for getting through challenging sections. For beginners, the New International Version (NIV) or New Living Translation (NLT) are highly recommended for clarity, while the ESV is good for deeper study. Invest in a study Bible that includes notes, maps, and commentary to explain difficult passages. Ask for wisdom and understanding before opening the Bible. Writing down reflections helps you remember and process what you have read. Reading for 10-15 minutes consistently is better than trying to read for an hour rarely.Recommended Order for New Readers Gospel of John (Understand Jesus’ divinity) Mark (Quick, fast-paced story of Jesus) Acts (The story of the early church) Romans (Core Christian theology) Genesis (The story of beginnings) Psalms (For prayer anemotion) For a deeper dive, consider using tools like the Bible Project for videos that explain the context of each book

Closing Prayer: Heavenly Father, open my eyes to see what You want me to see. Open my ears to hear what You want me to hear. Open my heart to receive it and my will to do it. In Jesus’ name.

Our Lord and savior we pray. Please forgive me of my sinagainst you, please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. please come into my heart. By the power of the Holy Spirit. Thank you Lord for saving me:
